Rollieo Del Fuego
any reason why? He shot and scored and wasn't on the ice for any goals against... and ya what is up with McNally? His offence has dried up and now he's nowhere to be found.
avelanch
McNally might be nursing an injury, or they might be sitting him because he hasn't registered a point in 7 games. not sure which. And back to beattie, his stat line remained unchanged, 1 G, +1. Yale won 5-
elvis15
Tyson Giuriato @TysonGiuriato From last night: #Canucks prospect @MattBeauttie13 scored once and was plus-1 for @Yale_Hockey. Now has six points (4-2-6) in 19 games. Nothing crazy exciting from him, but he's got lots of time to earn his education and develop.

avelanch
yale lost both games, and beattie's season is done. he actually played in the last game, but had no points and was even with one shot.
elvis15
Yeah, not much of a season for him, but he'll have next year to try again. Hope we can see more from him, but if not then he was a later draft pick so worse things have happened.

avelanch
at least he had lots of time to keep the GPA nice and high:21 Bulldogs Earn Academic All-ECAC HockeyALBANY, N.Y. – The grades have been calculated. The cumulative grade-point averages have updated, and 21Yale men's hockey players have numbers higher than an average goalie's goals against. Actually, that means more than three quarters of the 2013-14 team, including four-time selections Gus Young and Jesse Root, owns a GPA of 3.0 or better and have earned Academic All-ECAC Hockey honors.Yale's Academic All-ECAC Hockey SelectionsMatthew Beattie*, So., Economics* also had 2012-13 honorshttp://www.yalebulldogs.com/sports/m-hockey/2014-15/releases/20140722x65j6x
avelanch
only 2 senior forwards are on their way out (their top 2 point getters), so matt should at least move up to the 3rd line full time; there are 4 senior forward this season, 2 of which had 5 or less points last season, and 4 other junior forwards, one of which had only 4 points, so only 5 players are ahead of him based on seniority/stats (stupid website doesn't give their positions) but there are also a couple young guns that will be pushing for top six time. if matt pushes hard he has a chance to land in the top six, but he's going to have to push for it. Since he's a junior though, he stands a better chance.
