DeNiro
In the slight chance this would happen, I would see Luongo going to Florida or Toronto for assets, and then flipping those assets for Nash. He's definitely not going to Columbus.

DeNiro
But what if his only options are starting in Columbus, or backing up Schneider in Vancouver next year? Do you think he would still say no to Columbus?
Taller
I think he would rather be the backup. It's not like this would be a short term decision, he would be in Columbus for the next 10 years. 10 years in Columbus? Or 1 year in Vancouver as a backup with the potential to be traded next offseason?

oldnews
Not out of hand at all. I think we simply disagreed. I could be wrong. Ummmm, so . . . you think there's a snowball's chance in hell Nash comes to Van? What about his favorite sandwich? He seems like a roast beef and cheddar on white bread with no condiments kind of guy. What's your best guess?
missioncanucksfan
Here's an interesting tweet from Darren Dreger moments ago: http://twitter.com/D...139387466420225 Depending on whether the Canucks are on the list at this moment, this could be good or bad. It seems Nash will be allowing more teams to bid for his services so that he may be traded before the season begins.
Edlerberry
Check your head, mate. How many games has Schneider started in the NHL, and how many goals has Rick Nash scored in the NHL? Seriously. Check your friggin' head.
Vansicle
I'd say there's absolutely no chance of Nash landing in Vancouver - that's what I think, and that's what I'm hoping - I'm banking on Gillis' comment when he was asked when the welcoming parade will be..."2018." I think you're pretty bang-on regarding the Nashwich - definitely the white bread part.

Lui's Knob
Great another deal Canucks sit back on... Does mg think we are a cup contender right now? I'd say we are a worse off team before he started here ... Weak lineup, holes everywhere and a older core...

smokes
Keep Lou add Nash minus Schneider Keep Schneider, no Nash still with goalie conundrum. Which option gives us a better chance at the cup? Can you imagine someone trying to take a run at the Sedins with Nash on the right wing. It's a no brainer.
