I did'nt find it funny, I think Maher can be funny but this was not funny, it was insulting and it backed fired on him, of course liberals will blindly follow and support Maher. How about Maher made a (not overly funny) joke and Trump being the spotlight loving douche he is tried to make something out of nothing? That`s about where this ends IMO. Classic mountain out of a molehill. This isn't some grand political battle or noble quest of Trumps for charities. It was a passing, mildly humorous at most comment made on a COMEDY talk show by a comedian that a douche is trying to exploit for his own spotlight loving means. End of story.
