Steve Pinizzotto; ideal 4th line centre

After watching this game one thing is clear, Malhotra is holding up the fourth line.

Constantly losing the puck after Volpatti and Weise kept it in their zone for a while, losing puck battles on the boards easily, and having an overall slow reaction to the play when the puck comes to him.

With Kesler injured Manny is our go-to penalty killer, however there isn't much use for him other than that.

Anyways getting back to topic, how do you guys think Steve Pinizzotto would do in this line? He's gritty, stands up for teammates, defensively responsible, can play either wing or centre, and has some hands. Unfortunately he is injured, but how sick would it be to have a wrecking crew of him and Volpatti alongside superstar Weise together as our fourth line?

One game has been played. One single game. I am all for having the best player, play despite of a "less notable" last name. Pinizzotto has never really gotten a chance at the NHL level and before his injury last year, he looked really good and made the team out of camp. Despite of this however, Malhotra deserves to have a chance to get into the groove as well this season. Only move I am dissappointed so far this season is the fact that Schroeder didn't get a chance to show if he compete at NHL level.
