Point being that you're really weak at the goaltender spot now.

Well with Price and Luongo both in the top five, who is stronger?

For USA

I think it would be

Quick
Miller
Anderson <---- Very underrated goaltender

For Canada

Luongo
Price
Ward

I agree with this. Anyone who thinks Luongo isn't getting the start should go become a figure skating fan because you don't know jack about hockey. Also do not be surprised if Ward is replaced by someone else, but with Luongo and Price we wont see the third anyways except at the medal ceremony. Also don't be surprised if Miller gets the start over Quick as he was nothing but SPECTACULAR last olympics. Anderson is not under rated in my opinion. He is amazing and everyone is figuring that out quick.

It's Ray Ferraro, what did you expect?

Yeah using him as a source for predictions is like using Hockeyy Insiderr for all your trade info.

Canucks that will 100% be in the olympics:

Luongo, D Sedin, H Sedin, Edler, Hansen, Jensen, Kesler.

Canucks that have a big "MAYBE" attached to them:

Boothe, Burrows.

Like I said its a big MAYBE.

Team Canada doesn't care if Price is younger, it's a tournament, not a decade long voyage. The starting job is Luongos.

Please explain how the USA is light years ahead? Craig Anderson? Jonathon Quick?

Way too early to tell who will be starting, nothing is guaranteed here. So much can change between now and then.

It would appear you are the future figure skating fan if you think Burrows and Booth have a chance.

BAD MOVE!!!

BAD FING MOVE

HAHAHA ANOTHER INJURED MORON ON OUR TEAM

HE WILL JOIN US IN 2019

Benning will be fired next year. Hope he enjoys screwing around for a few months. I just cant believe this. Another injured BC player. We just got rid of garrison. Seems like the canucks and linden just wanted any BC born player. Doesn't matter if hes good or not. We don't need another Linden to get us to game 7 of the Stanley cup and lose. We need someone to win us a cup.

5 million a year for Vrbata? 6 million for Miller? Kesler for Bonino and 24th instead of 10th pick or one of their top prospects? Garrison for scraps?

ive already lost faith in JB. Ive never EVER had this bad of a feeling about management.

Right now, it really comes down to Lou and Price...whoever plays better will be between the pipes. That said, a lot could happen between now and the games, but if it were to start tomorrow, I`d say Luongo gets the job

I think just like in 2010 when the job was Brodeur's to lose based on his pedigree, so it will be with Luongo.

if he was, MTL doesn't finish 15th place in East.

The team infront of you matters in making the playoffs. With good and bad teams both Luongo and Price have had some consistent and very good numbers.
Luongo's Florida Stats then the jump to Vancouver
2000-2001 GP 47 .920 save % 2.44 GAA - playoffs? Florida 12th in east
2001-2002 GP 58 .915 save % 2.77 GAA - playoffs? Florida 14th in east
2002-2003 GP 65 .918 save % 2.71 GAA - playoffs? Florida 13th in east
2003-2004 GP 73 .931 save % 2.43 GAA - playoffs? Florida 12th in east
2005-2006 GP 75 .914 save % 2.97 GAA - playoffs? Florida 11th in east
2006-2007 GP 76 .921 save % 2.28 GAA - playoffs? Vancouver 3rd in west

Carey Price's Stats
2007-2008 GP 41 .920 save % 2.56 GAA - playoffs? Montreal 1st in east
2008-2009 GP 52 .905 save % 2.83 GAA - playoffs? Montreal 8th in east
2009-2010 GP 41 .912 save % 2.77 GAA - playoffs? Montreal 8th ih east
2010-2011 GP 72 .923 save % 2.35 GAA - playoffs? Montreal 6th in east
2011-2012 GP 65 .916 save % 2.43 GAA - playoffs? Montreal 15th in east

Not just about playoffs during FLA Luongo for many years was known for making the most saves for consecutive years with most shots against. I just don't get how Price is the guy to beat. He is good and still young, but not better than Luongo still. In a few more years he might be.

Luongo did face a lot of shots but break down the numbers and he didn't face much more than Price...
Luongo's Florida Stats then the jump to Vancouver
2000-2001 GP 47 1226 Saves = 26 saves per game
2001-2002 GP 58 1513 Saves = 26 saves per game
2002-2003 GP 65 1847 Saves = 28 save per game
2003-2004 GP 73 2303 Saves = 32 saves per game
2005-2006 GP 75 2275 Saves = 30 saves per game
2006-2007 GP 76 1998 Saves = 26 saves per game
5 year average = 28.4
6 year average = 28

Carey Price's Stats
2007-2008 GP 41 1179 saves = 29 saves per game
2008-2009 GP 52 1370 saves = 26 save per game
2009-2010 GP 41 1135 saves = 28 saves per game
2010-2011 GP 72 1982 saves = 28 saves per game
2011-2012 GP 65 1754 saves = 27 saves per game
5 year average = 27.6

Do some research...you'll see why Price is being considered for team Canada.

I'm surprised fans here don't seem to be giving Burrows much credit. When you look at a guy like Patrice Bergeron, he was a guy who was on the team because of his defensive play. Burrows can do pretty much anything you ask him to... so why no love for Burr for Team Canada? Penalties will need to be killed, he has speed and you can play him at any position, and he brings grit. I like a lot of those Team Canada players, but when some of the top players can be a bit one-dimensional.

It would be fun to see schneider vs luongo as team USA vs Canada  Though for anyone who cares about ron mcleans opinion he was saying on coaches corner earlier during the laffs and habs game that he thinks hamhuis, bieksa and burrows should all get a look at cracking the team canada roster and I agree with hamhuis at the very least

Right now Luongo and Price are on, not sure who is the 3rd. MAF hasn't been that great lately, He needs to play his way on imo. He would be ripped to shreds if he was playing for the Canucks.

Bieksa top pairing for sure. In fact if he sees less than 30 mins/game Canada has no hope.

Luongo definitely gets the starting job after winning gold, Price backs up, with MAF as insurance. Cam Ward would be an interesting pick but MAF has a leg up on him in that he's had some experience being at the olympics in 2010.

OMG SUNDIN.

The word fear is not in our dictionary, it is in the eyes of the enemy.

The objective of war is not to die for your country, it is to make the enemy die for theirs.

One generation plants the trees, the other gets the shade.
