Y'know, I'd expect the guy who did 116 in a 60 zone to get psychological treatment, not the guy who played guitar during class.

My paternal grandparents fled eastern Europe to avoid being killed during the aftermath of the Russian Revolution. She raised 13 children and 70 years after her arrival upon her death could barely speak any English.

You make it seem like that is something to be proud of.

No excuse to not learn the language in that amount of time. You come to a country, learn the language. Plain and simple.

This is coming from someone with immigrant parents (I also wasn't born here, came at a very young age) who both worked very hard to become fluent in English.

Which is why I said "thinking". Most people have the common sense not to say such things out loud. Especially in the workplace and doubly so in Mr Long's chosen workplace.
