murray hall
The media is all over it: powerplay is pretty much ineffective... the Canucks have barely won a number of recent games by narrow margins in low-scoring games but no one can really put their finger on what the problem is. Is it just that Kesler is out, and so if other teams contain the Sedins, they can pretty much shut down the Canuck attack? What do the Canucks need to do? Has the team reached its peak, having become a step or two slower than everyone else, all of a sudden? Seriously, this lack of scoring is so unlike the Canucks we've become used to over the past decade. Everyone's worried somewhat. CDC is crawling with 'experts' that seem to have answers for everything. What's wrong with our scoring and how do the Canucks get it back on track? Duodenum
Pinizzotto, Ebbett, Sestito, Weise, Kassian, Gordon, Lapierre, Ballard, Alberts.... Usually you only want a few of these type of guys on your team. We've got two full lines devoid of talent.
PlayStation
First line gets shut down, no other lines for teams to really worry about since we have no second line. No powerplay either. Most of all, no heart.
terrible.dee
We used to have two legit scoring threats, Sedin line, Kessler line. Teams would have to deal with both. Now all they have to do is shut down the Sedins. One scoring line isn't enough to be successful in this league.
Special Ed
After the Boston series management tried to change our teams formula from 'skilled' to 'tough' and it hasn't worked. Lack of scoring from losing and trading skilled goal scorers whome I will leave unnamed. I think it's pretty obvious if you have been paying attention. Dragonfruits
missing kesler booth kassian to start burrows and the sedins playing like garbage as of late our scoring has consisted of raymond and hansen for the most part while higgins and others decide to play lousy

Avicii
Because we can't score off the rush.. Raymond/Hansen/Kesler/Burrows are the only ones on team that can legitimately score off the rush..

CanucksSayEh
It used to be lack of scoring depth, now it's lack of primary scoring. Sedins need to step the **** up.
lolwut?
Lol at the idea that kassian booth and ballard being injured is a key reason.. Because these players have provided so much offense while playing this year right? Lol this forum is too funny. Im not convinced that even Kes coming back right now would make much of a difference.. is he gonna score three goals a game on a night like tonight? Why cant some of you just deal with the fact that this team is playing lazy uninspired hockey? Why not call it as it is instead of dreaming up excuses? The pp is in a coma, the defence has been brutal all season and the canucks cant seem to play a full game start to finish.. what does that have to do with kesler or any other player being injured? Do these excuses allow a pass to all the other players on the ice or to av? Come ON

bobopan
Look at this lineup.. Even when healthy this is the same damn team that couldn't score during the 2011 run. MG lost out on Doan and that was his only card. He won't give up the assests to aquire a top six guy cause we don't have them, or can't afford to trade them. Factor in the Sedins looking like they've regressed far sooner than expected and Burrows just having an awful year.. god that contract doesn't look so good now. Booth was not the anwser for the 2nd line, nor do i expect him to be all that effective if he ever comes back. Raymond is a streaky scorer. Kassian not ready yet to produce on a 2nd line level yet. Shoulda dealt Luo when there was some actual buzz instead of being greedy.
Tony Romo
We have to many hot/cold players. Higgins,Hansen,Raymond are all hot/ cold players. When tere hot we am score when there cold we can't. In our cup year we had more consistency and Torres was really our only hot/cold player. I think it's good to have players like that, but not when there all on your top
