Cody Hodgson Demoted to 4th Line with Sabres

Recommended Posts

Why are we talking about an Eastern conference bottom-feeder team's 4th liner?

Bill Hoppe ‏@BillHoppeNHL36m

Cody Hodgson centering fourth line between John Scott and Pat Kaleta.

What does that say about golden boy, that he's centering the 4th line on a team with pretty much nothing down the middle.

AV and Gillis had it right, Hodgson sucks in the D zone.

Sabres need to fire Regier, bad trade.

They are doing it to give balance for all four lines. Hodgson gets to play against their weak fourth line and it has been working. Its not a demotion its a tactic

Ha. Hope he scores the game winning goal tonight!

I enjoyed his time here. I don't see why we need to put him down. Maybe to feel better about the trade?

But also FTR; the parts of the Bruins game I watched Hodgson was on the PP with Ott and Pomminville, Erhoff and Myers. Also on for the dying moments when they needed a goal.

Considering Lucic and Horton on top line; size for match ups probably the factor so Ott was taking face off's not Cody.
