I wonder if we can steal a first round draft pick from someone. High one.

Wait, can we afford to take players back?

BAD MOVE!!!

BAD FING MOVE

HAHAHA ANOTHER INJURED MORON ON OUR TEAM

HE WILL JOIN US IN 2019

Benning will be fired next year. Hope he enjoys screwing around for a few months. I just cant believe this. Another injured BC player. We just got rid of garrison. Seems like the canucks and linden just wanted any BC born player. Doesn't matter if hes good or not. We don't need another Linden to get us to game 7 of the Stanley cup and lose. We need someone to win us a cup.

5 million a year for Vrbata? 6 million for Miller? Kesler for Bonino and 24th instead of 10th pick or one of their top prospects? Garrison for scraps?

ive already lost faith in JB. Ive never EVER had this bad of a feeling about management.

With what McClement has done for the Leafs this year I highly doubt he gets traded.

I wonder if we can steal a first round draft pick from someone. High one.

Wait, can we afford to take players back?

Maybe from a team like Philly that needs goaltending

And I think we can if the players' cap hit is 2-3 million

In my eyes drouin is overrated he can score in the qmjhl but did nothing in last two gold medal games that canada lost. Fox will be better pro than him talk to me in five yrs

Gaudreau has one NHL goal whereas all your "prized" prospects have none.

ryan kesler is going to the chicago blackhawks ...       quote me on it

Edler franson

This pairing is a defensive nightmare. Franson and Edler are very similar players, both needing a stead stay at home guy to play with.

Franson is only good because of Fraser, similar to Edler's relationship to Salo.

Forget TML, look at Riemer, playing good enough, never gonna happen dude, better to think Wash/Fla

Forget WSH, after a slow start to the season holtby has been everything the team needs. Plus he's only 23 and he's cheap. something WSH needs. Florida is more realistic.

a deal starting with Luongo for Shore/Petrovic

I think any deal with Toronto will be based on how well they do in the first round of the playoffs. If the goalies get shelled and Toronto get bounced in the first 4-5 games then we have more leverage in a deal. If they play well then we are looking somewhere else for a deal in the off-season

No need to panic.

Bet Booth and Ballard will be on injury reserve to start next year anyway...

In seriousness; we went to TO with our tail between our legs at the deadline because we had alternate deals in place. Without that urgency, we will get better than McLement & Franson.

What if everyone accepts the fact Luongo is leaving?

He could win the cup this year, then leave...the two activities are not mutually exclusive.

hmm is this your proposal.... where is your source if it isn't. also we couldn't trade him at the deadline we certainly won't get anything from toronto now. especially someone like scrivens and franson... toronto don't want lu s' contract... won't happen sorry.

I agree, even if TO needed Luo I would tell them forget it unless they overpay...if I am the owner of TML I would castrate Nonis for not going for Reimer and 2 ends...I mean that is a bargain basement price and Nonis said no...so glad he is not our GM.

Markstrom...interesting case. If you are Tallon, do you let an obviously talented goalie get shelled night after night after night...that may ruin his confidence. Or do you bring back a veteran who has seen it all, who loves florida and who will mentor they guy??
no brainer to me. I'd even do Luongo for Shore straight up. Or Luongo, Schroeder for Shore and 2nd. That is fair.

Wash-seem like they dont want his contract.

I think Philly and NYI are interesting players here. Bryz smells buyout and then they will want Luo, Mason is no number 1.

Nonis will not negotiate in good faith with Vancouver so forget that destination for Luongo.
