That way we can maybe rebound quickly and get ahead of Edmonton/Colorado/Calgary. i.e. Kesler and Bieksa to Detroit for a 1st, Dekeyser, Ferraro. The Sedins, and Luongo to Florida for the 2nd overall, and a 2nd rounder next year. Edler, Schroeder and our 1st to Philly for Couturier That gives us 2 first rounders in 2013, a 1st and two 2nd rounders in 2014, Couturier, Dekeyser, Ferraro, and one of either Seth Jones/MacKinnon/Drouin to build a new core around. SuperReverb2 Posted May 20, 2013 Share Posted May 20, 2013 Schneider. Don't think he was injured at all. Most likely an off ice - after hours faux pas that resulted in a team suspension. Reason that he, AV, and Gillis looked SO uncomfortable talking about the so called "injury" that nobody could diagnose. Threw the whole team chemistry off at the worst possible time, (Just before the playoffs) and most likely the reason that Gillis AND AV will keep their respective jobs for one more year. Doubters? Tell me why they had a "kid" backing up Luongo when Schneider came right out and said he was good to go after practice. A practice I might add where he showed ZERO effects of any injury. REALLY not sure if that will ever change at this stage of the game. He's been horrid in the last two playoffs for the Canucks and his recent transgression in the World Cup isn't going to help his cause much either. Erik Karlsson Posted May 21, 2013 Share Posted May 21, 2013 I don't see how we can keep all of our wingers Sedin,Booth,Higgins,Hansen,Raymond,Weise,Burr,Kassian and probably Jensen will be on the team next year Too many wingers unless we actually decide to run a 4 line team for once... I still think one of atleast Booth or Raymond need to go for somebody who's big and mean. Raymond plays good when his linemates can match his speed (Schroeder,Grabner,Kes ) but our team is already too soft. -AJ- Posted May 21, 2013 Share Posted May 21, 2013 Ballard and Ebbett. Ebbett is frankly underrated on offense, but he is atrocious in the faceoff circle. Ballard is a 5/6 defenseman now, and he's not worth $4.2M per year. Booth is being overpaid, but he hasn't been given much of a chance as of late. He hardly played this year.
