While Panarin and Kane's chemistry is undeniable, the Jackets have a lot of terrific pieces in place, headlined by Wennberg, Werenski, and Jones. So maybe this will be better long term for me. I guess ill be using my gcl subscription a bit more. Necas going to a better team in Carolina is a good thing. Their future on defense is absolutely phenomenal. They really aren't too far off at all. Him going to Carolina at 12 and you being competitive once in the playoffs with him is better than the Canucks taking him at 5, Vegas at 6, or Detroit at 9.
