Gotta let you guys win one now and again so you don't quit on us.

How do you explain the 2 previous ones in sled hockey?  Spotting us 3 golds in a row is quite generous!;)

The article says the US has won 3 olympics in a row in paralympic sledge hockey so this isn't an upset at all.

Not an upset at all, but it's still nice to take home the gold.  It's funny how these games often come down to one goal though.

Canada winning a major basketball tournament is definitely one for the books.

Just think what the rest of the world feels when we hear the masses chanting "USA! USA! USA!"

And at inappropriate times.

Canadian patriotism is more subtle and more hockey related. That's why it's better.

Ok this is going down a road and it won't end well. So I'm applying the brakes.

You wouldn't have to.  Canada won the gold medal in the U19 FIBA world championship.  They beat Italy.  USA took the bronze.

I didn’t realize that they won under 19 championship.

Not to minimize their achievement but for me personally olympics or FBWC is considered the biggest event.

I agree, but winning the U19 is a big step towards that goal.  Especially if the NBA decides to pull an NHL and ban players from the Olympics.
