22 years old, undrafted, playing mostly in the ECHL this year. I'd say probably not.

Never say never, there's always another Burrows just around the corner. Just needs the opportunity. Finding that next Burrows however is why you continue to look.

Forward for a Defenseman. I haven't been following close enough as of late to know what Utica's D situation is looking like, but from what I can tell them already have 11 D?

@UticaHockey any insight to the reason Utica needs another D?

Gives Lind a chance to move up the lineup perhaps?

According to Cory Hergott at Canucks Army, could be because of an injury to Dylan Blujus (Comets-only D).  Would make the most immediate sense then the Comets preparing for a trade by the Canucks but that's of course possible.

The following article by Ben Birnell in the Utica Observer-Dispatch seems to cover everything;

The Utica Comets got additional depth on defense Sunday.

In a trade involving players on American Hockey League-only contracts, the Comets sent rookie forward Tanner MacMaster to the Toronto Marlies in exchange for defenseman Stefan Leblanc in a move that helps both teams.

The move adding Leblanc gives the Comets another option on defense, which has had some struggles this season and had to play through some extended injuries. Another injury played a role in the trade: defenseman Dylan Blujus – a key player for Utica this season -- is “out long term” after he blocked a shot – appearing to suffer a hand injury -- Friday in Syracuse and didn’t return to game.

″(Stefan) gives us depth and a guy that can step in and give us good minutes,” Comets General Manager Ryan Johnson said Sunday. “He was playing well in Toronto, but they had a surplus of (defensemen.”

In the 6-foot, 185-pound Leblanc the Comets get a lefthanded defenseman, who is described as a smart player and moves the puck well. The 22-year-old Leblanc – who is in his second pro campaign -- has split time between the Marlies (seven assists in 17 games) and their ECHL affiliate in Newfoundland (three goals, 15 points in 26 games) this season.

Leblanc is the latest addition for the Comets defensive group, which was bolstered by veteran Luke Schenn as part of a trade by the parent Vancouver Canucks in mid-January. The move gives the Comets eight healthy defensemen – including Colton Saucerman and Cliff Watson who are professional tryout contracts -- as of Sunday. Ashton Sautner (out since early December) has been skating and is nearing a return, though Jesse Graham (upper body) is considered week-to-week and Olli Juolevi is expected to miss the rest of the regular season.

The 23-year-old MacMaster, who joined the Comets at the end of last season and impressed with playmaking abilities, had been in and out of the lineup in his first full pro season as he tried to find his footing. He had two goals and 11 points in 29 games this season, while seeing some power play time.

The move helps lessen a logjam the Comets have on the wings. There are now 10 wings on the roster.

The Comets -- who are in fourth-place in the North Division -- play a three-game schedule next weekend with home games Friday against Lehigh Valley and Saturday against Rochester before visiting Bridgeport on Sunday.

Based on this article I would say that the Comets actually could use more depth on D right now, especially if Saucerman and/or Watson do not stick. And Utica probably does want to create more room for the forward prospects, as suggested by WHere'd Luongo.

So the trade makes sense on its own merits and I doubt if it indicates anything about possible Canuck trades.
