I liked Horvat's game, he made a couple mistakes but otherwise he made smart plays offensively and got a goal by being in the right spot. If he can make more moves like the toe-drag in the 3rd that will help his chances to make the team but he needs to be more dangerous offensively.

Tommernes, Andersson, Corrado, Biega, Blain, LaFranchise and Negrin, Huskins as Utica signings? I don't think they're is room for him and also Cederholm is a possibility to play in the AHL aswell. I think McEneny can play a #5-6 spot in Utica and beat out LaFranchise/Negrins/Huskins but it'll come down to where Cederholm goes.

Bryan Burnham is going to fill in for Taylor, Burnham was pretty good in college. We don't have much depth on our WR core. I would rather have Ernest Jackson instead of the rookie Burnham, Jackson was actually pretty solid some games, he's a big guy and has RB size when he's in openfield.

Players with high level of hockey IQ always have success in the NHL. There's no doubt in my mind that Gaunce becomes a top 9 player in the NHL within 2 years, size, smarts, talent, Gaunce has it all. Gaunce was ranked #13 on 2012 CSS Rankings and I was absolutely shocked he fell to #26.

Richardson, Thompson, Campbell, Paille, Chipchura, Drew Miller, Fiddler, Ryan White, Adam Hall. Quality 4th liners you can find in FA, I'd prefer to develop 4th liners since they'll be cheap, know the system. I would rather not have a 1st rounder become a 4th liner instead players like Lain, Archibald, Zalewski, Kenins become our 4th liners.

Not really, you can sign a 4th liner in FA easily.

Eagles' got better as the game went on, a couple turnovers was a big reason to why Eagles won. I thought the running game of the Colts would kill the Eagles but they started to step up, finally started scoring in the red zone. McCoy is an animal but I think he can have a better game, Foles missed a few deep passes, otherwise it wasn't too bad of a game for the Eagles. Sproles is sick, defence is tired and sub in Sproles which is difficult because of the speed and he can go all the way. Screens, sweeps all go east and west making the Colts' defence extremely tired. They were just done at the end of the game and Eagles went all over them. Eagles are going to surprise alot of people IMO, underdogs to make it to the Superbowl if they can beat out Seahawks in the regular season and win the NFC.

Gaunce had a good game, he's a smart player and is good with the puck. He has size and protected it well today, worked well down low transitioning to the net. I think he'll start in AHL even if he could have a good chance at beating someone out because junior to NHL isn't easy and playing a little in the AHL wouldn't be too bad, we can see how he performs over there then call him up if he is doing great.

Amazing defence, even though Willy got hurt we still kept it to them and even Willy couldn't solve our defence. 9 points against a offence that put up 45 points in the last 2 weeks against Saskatchewan who are considered as the best defence or one of the best. Elimimian with 82 tackles, next guy has 55. Bighill has 46 tackles tied for 5th but to be fair he is usually pass rushing or playing coverage instead of QB spy or man on man with RBs. Add that to a decent pass rush and an aggressive secondary that can tackle or play press man on man. The secondary doesn't get enough praise, Marsh, one of the best corners in the CFL over the course of the last 5-6 years when he was learning under guys like Barron Miles. Ryan Phillips, veteran who is not thrown to that much along with Marsh because of the man to man coverage they play. Yell, aggressive corner who can tackle with the best of our CBs, young, already a threat to defence reminds me of a young Marsh. Cord Parks, don't even see him out there because no one throws the ball to him, was a top leader for INTs last season. Offence was good, running game still doing great.

I really want to see Horvat make the team, he plays in the big games, Memorial Cup, World Juniors, Ivan Hlinka, U17s, he plays a good all-around game. If injuries hit we'll have Shinkaruk, Gaunce, Fox, Jensen all playing pro hockey along with Horvat.
