I do not really understand jersey rumour was trying to get boudreau, tkachuk, debrincat but seem not interested in Miller now that those fish have landed elsewhere... they trade for marino to play on the right when they have Hamilton and severson getting top 4 money and minutes on the right with that kid Shak who supposedly can play on the right... What that team needs most outside of goaltending which they sort of addressed in non convincing fashion is a gritty top 6 veteran two way forward who gives an F, to complement miles woods the last thing they need are more mcsofties like holtz, they have non gritty players in Hughes, hirschier, mercer, sherangovich, bratt, that top 6 screams soft....maybe they are going after kadri? miller would be a perfect fit imo

this makes sense, St Louis wants Tkachuk, Tkachuk wants St. Louis, Calgary canna those another player for nothing and the longer tkachuk does not sign long term in Calgary the longer the tkachuk AND the Goudreau stuff hangs over them.

We resign him, that has been made clear as the top choice for the organization. moving garland for marino we get close to .5million savings, moving pearson+Hogz and getting E rod we get about 1.75 that cap of 2.25 can go towards Miller and Bo's uppage next year. along with the hotly/virtanen moving If we cannot sign miller by the deadline he will be traded and with Petey, Bo, E rod, Lazar, that is good NHL C depth + dickie is still somehow on this team, maybe we waive him if he is not doing well early in the season... where will Kuzmenko be next season, will we have cap to sign him if he does well?

I would move Pearson and sign Evan Rodrigues as 3C Pearson + Hogz+Dipietro to OTT for 2nd 2023 Sign E Rod Trade garland for Marino

what about Fabbro (RD)+ Trenin (great 3C)+ 2nd? They have Jeannot, they have picks, they have the assets!!!!

use High and Mickey D to sweeten and move Pearson, then sign Evan Rodrigues as our 3C, this would be awesome, move JT + Dickie for Marino + Kapanen and Pickering (cap works out) and boom, done

I would do this if they cannot sign JT but they do not need Dermott, they signed Rutta and we don't need both tucker and kapanen, and they are short on wingers so I would as for Bluegger back so he can play C for us as we are giving up Dickie, we still need a 3C if we move miller
