this team needs a better 3C and a top 4 RD, funny, these are the things we need going into the offseason. the teams d personnel is a problem, can't hide that. Garland + Rathbone + Leterimakki ( we have more wingers than anything in this organization) for a top 4 D man and 3C, dear lord please. Maybe try DET fro HRONEK and Rasmussen (big local kid), plays 3C for DET.

bottom line: Bubble - good leadership group in the last year of their prime - Sutter, Beagle, Myers, Roussel - all sound leaders, voices players then, too old now. slow, retired etc, the young players were emotionally sheltered by these guys, Bo Miller, had stuff to prove, Hughes, Petey, Boeser were along for the ride and good players, the veteran leadership group had to move on, leaving Petey, Hughes, bo, Miller, to pick top the leadership, which they have not done because they just are not able/ready combination, there you go, the players are both not the right mix anymore and/or to some degree have not matured enough yet, Miller is playing a very immature game. Nee to change the mix, bring in some good solid vets which is best done with off season UFAs, I think this org misread the leadership groups ability to lead

BB trying to get JA to trade garland. BB doesn't like garlands size, surely Rathbone + Garland could get us a top 4 RD? add a 2025 1st?

if the guys feel collectively that winning is important to them, they will sort it out, if not, they won't simple as that. Do we have guys you win with? We don't, we have a lot of really nice pieces with a lot of skill, but not a lot of glue guys or guys that have it all. Sedins, Bieksa, Burrows, Luongo, Hamhuis, Salo, Mitchell, these guys all got along well with ket and ethos get along enough to make things work. tbh in 10 games if we don't have a winning record, I would just blow it the F up, but we are stuck with Miller now, and he is playing like junk, at least Petey is playing well.

Rathbone + 1st 2025 + Boeser ought to get you a good d man or how about we revisit Boeser for Dumba ?

that's the truth and so they can get it together like they did for 4 months last year or keep crapping the bed like now. Miller's play is pretty poop right now, he should not be in anyone ones clique.

tbh I think we need to go all in on a d man this d will not work and I bet we start out the year as bad as beginning of last year, I think we got lucky with how well demo, Myers and oil played when Bruce took over, I think myers will not be able to repeat that level of play he did last year

another hand injury, he now has a 6.6 x 3 contract which will be immovable if he cannot perform, how many hand surgeries is it now 3? and his game is mostly his shot which has struggled, not looking good for a bounce back year, plus he ill probably rush back/get rushed back and high chance of poor play or re-injury

lol it isn't even 2 day of preseason games and we already have injuries to two top 6 forwards lol, classic Vancouver watch Milk be out 3-6 months with separated shoulder lol
