Nah, this is just what actual 3D chess looks like, just in GM form.  More moves to make as well. I'll trust the process, until it's a proven success/failure. No reason for people to get bent out of shape 5 days into free agency.

3D chess would have had Benning not sign Myers or Ferland to large contracts and would have had Benning actually show interest in signing Tanev, Toffoli, Stecher. Even if we didn't sign them.

Schmidt's a nice get, don't get me wrong. But Benning looks like he was frozen in place while everything failed around him.

I heard he got ventilated seats in his new car. He'll be fine.
