  1. What a bunch of gibberish. We have successfully developped: (the obvious ones that we held back 1 or 2 years): Horvat EP Boeser The pickups: Baertschi Stecher Granlund Goldobin The non 1st-round picks: Hutton Gaudette Tryamkin Demko And that’s not even scratching the surface... Virtanen is in a slump currently but is having a great season Dahlen is picking it up transitioning to NA ice McEneny Brisebois Chatfield Sautner all important dmen in Utica Juolevi has been really well-handled, is just suffering terrible injury luck Jasek is trending just fine Lind and Gadj are rookies, they need some time and that’s fine. Gadj has 20 games to his name fyi. Lind is playing. They’re not benched every game. Kulbakov is playing meaningful games. Palmu decided to leave and play with Kakko, very good decision. our development is fine, and miles ahead of what it was 5 years ago when JB signed his contract be patient. Rome wasn’t built in a day
  2. Marky’s been great. I think Demko will be much better. Different styles, different mentalities, different skills. Only a fool would giveaway Demko for free.
  3. AND That’s probably the easiest decision JB will ever make
  4. Those realistic expectations for Pettersson look hilarious today
  5. Everybody mark page 225-230 of this thread so in a years time we can laugh at everybody’s negative commets based off of one tournament!
  6. Give Quinn a plethora of skilled players like Bo, Baertschi, EP Boeser and JV to play with, and that’s when you’ll notice how great he really is. Every analyst I’ve heard speak of QH has said that he could be in the nhl today. One WJC doesn’t change that. Those posters on hdboards said the same thing about EP last year.
  7. Sergachev is a terrible dman sheltered on an elite team.
  8. Very true, I say he’s almost a shoe-in at this point to be protected. Thanks for catching that
  9. To be honest, for the expansion draft, we won’t have many Dmen that we absolutely need to protect. Juolevi and Hughes and that’s about it. The last spot is between Stecher, Hutton and Pouliot....
  10. The guy teared up a peo league last year, and is incredible in the AHL this year. Who said his progression isnt up to par? Just because Tkachuk and Sergachev and Chychrun made the NHL already doesnt take anything away from Olli. We learned our lesson with Jv and McCann, calgary arizona took chances and it payed off, and Sergachev is sheltered on an elite team, and is having quite the sophomore slump. Nobody should be worried about OJ.
  11. I didnt insinuate we need more Stechers. That was someone else. I think We need more good Dmen. We have that in Oj and Quinn
  12. They play so calmly and confidently that they look lazy. But really they are just steps ahead of the play. That's my take anyway
  13. I'm very happy with Goldy this year. People harp on him because he's not on EP's level but a) not many players in the league are and b) he's still very young and very promising. So much skill, getting better on defense, and starting to rack up points. That for Hansen. Any day of the week.
  14. Were you expecting a 20 year old chl player to just burst out of the gate? Prospects are prospects because they are not close, they are prospects.
  15. Even with the loss against Angers saturday, my hometown underdog MHSC (Montpellier) is 3rd in Ligue 1, fighting for 2nd spot. Defense and Goaltending so solid they are being nicknamed, the “clean sheet”. One of the best D in the tp 5 european championships for now 2 1/2 ywars. Very impressive for a team who’s been heavily rebuilding since their 2012 championsjip win.
  16. If he’s not signed by dec 1st, he can’t be on the team all year. (RFA Rule)
  17. How come? He’s only been steadily progressing ever since we drafted him. Was an all star last year and one of the goalie leaders, and has had great stats, even with a so-so lineup in front of him for the past 2 1/2 years. Kid’s got all the athletic tools, and just needs to finesse his technique. It’s a better recipe than the other way around. He’ll come back to Utica and play half the season and probably be called up around the trade deadline and then probably foght his way onto the roster next year. Nilsson is here for the length that he is signed for precisely to give Demko time to properly develop. We properly developped Schneider and look at how that turned out for us. We had one of the best tandems in nhl history. Demko has so much potential, all the tools, now has the experience and the work put in. A concussion doesn’t change my mind personally.
  18. So i played world of chel (eashl) and boy let me tell you, they knocked it out of the parc. I dont get hyped about nhl games ( i play them all and still have fun, but lost my enthusiasm and optimism around nhl 14), and wow im shocked. Having lots of fun.
  19. I think Marchand cares a lot less about Vancouver than Vancouver fans care about Marchand. It was 8 years ago. Get over it.
  20. Isn’t Ritchie getting close to bust territory (I haven’t followed him since his draft but feel like I heard he was flopping)
