Lucas Jassek posted an instagram video of Goldy cruising around some pimped out condo on an electric scooter with some hot chick walking around in the background. Ive noticed with a lot of his social media stuff he doesn't seem to be training or acting very serious. I think this is the year he really needs to show that he has what it takes to be a top 6 NHL player. I hope he proves me wrong and takes his game to the next level.

Ferland vs Lucic would be a good fight. Could go either way. Lucic is a slow NHL player but he is still a tough dude. One big punch from either of these guys could finish the fight. Lucic with weight advantage. I personally would rather see Ferland fight Sam Bennett. I can't stand that guy and his creepy moustache. He always goes for the cheap head shot and only wants to fight when it suits him. He will go full steam for a bit and when he is gassed he's done with the fight. I want to see Ferland dummy him up this season!

I could see Pettersson being the kind of guy that trains in fencing

I saw him play in Victoria at the world jr hockey championships. He stood out as easily the best player on his team. I know that does say much. His compete levels are through the roof. I was stoked when we picked him in the 6th and I'm happy to see the canucks like him so much to sign him -
Not a lot of hockey news so what the heck how about another crazy proposal..... To Van: Nick Foligno (captain material, high character, play him up and down the line up, playoff performer, battles and can fight. To CBJ 2020 or 2021 1st round pick. Whichever Tampa doesn't use. Louie Eriksson Brandon Sutter Sven Baertchi Sign Boeser with the extra cap space Foligno Pettersson Boeser Ferland Horvat Miller Pearson Gaudette Virtanen Leivo Beagle Motte Roussel

Anyone remember if the beef with Nazim Kadri and Mark Giordano happened when Ferland still played for the Flames? I wouldn't put it past Kadri to take some cheap shots against our players this season now that he is playing on Colorado and we will see him more often. I wonder if Ferland has any previous hate for Kadri and will be motivated to keep him in check?

unsung-hero. Noun. (plural unsung heroes) One who does great deeds but receives little or no recognition for them. I think defence was our biggest issue last season largely due to the injuries of Tanev and Edler. Im going to say Im rooting for Chris Tanev to be the unsung hero because if he is healthy and quietly playing sound reliable defence our whole team will play better.

I was on the computer and pushed buy tickets at exactly 10:00am and they were sold out I hope its not a repeat of World Jr.'s where there are lots of empty seats that were reserved for some company and they didn't use them. Victoria clearly needs more Canucks NHL games here. Go Canucks Go #Victoriasteam

I agree that more point shots and garbage goals are needed -
I have a feeling Podkolzin is the most dominant player out of the 2019 draft and becomes one of the best hockey players in the NHL! Still so happy with this pick and I can't believe we got him at 10.

Was just reading an article about the Canucks odds of making the playoffs. The oddsmakers have us jumping from 81 points last season to 90.5 next season. Its a big step forward but we still miss the playoffs. This would have us picking in the 12-15 range at next years draft and keeping our first round pick. In that range Justin Baron looks like a good RD prospect we could get. [Report] Eriksson “NOT” likely to be moved on
kenhodgejr replied to Provost's topic in Trades, Rumours, Signings
Columbus doesn't have a number 1 goalie for their future... Korpisalo can hold the fort until Demko takes over. Columbus might see Demko as a US born future franchise #1 goaltender. The kind of player they would like to build their team around. I think we are loosing on this deal because of what Demko will become. Anderson played on a stacked team last season and his stats reflect it. I still think he is a solid player though. Also I didn't know him and Horvat were so tight after seeing pictures of him in Bo's groomsman party at the wedding. -
