@Elias Pettersson He's talking about the current iteration of both teams.  Not the past.  They both similarly and recently tanked at roughly the same time. 

Jason Botterill seems to be making some solid decisions.

@SabreFan1 Yes I totally understand.  Of course the sh*t storm that is Edmonton now is a total disgrace to the NHL.  All I was saying is as an Edmonton fan, if you are an older one, you at least have all of those beautiful memories.  

@Elias Pettersson Sports are a "what have you done for me lately" business.  It's nice to have memories, but if you have a team going nowhere fast, those memories fade.  I love my late 80's-mid-90's Bills memories, but the longer their old playoff drought streak went, the quicker those warm and fuzzy feelings/memories faded.
