Guy plays like it’s a game 7 every game. I haven’t seen a player on the Canucks jumping into shots since Ryan Johnson. It’s too bad he will be out for awhile but I love seeing that effort, I hope it sends a message to the rest of the team as to what it takes to get a cup/ring.

I haven’t seen this grit factor yet from him. So until I see something I only see Tim holding back someone like Dahlen or Gaudette (yes he got called up today) that can contribute in other areas. Because if he’s not bringing the grit, this guy is as useful as Gaunce. It’s early days so I hope he can prove us wrong that he isn’t just a warm body.

Agreed. Say what you will about Aquaman, he is always willing to have his wallet open to spend to the cap. Eugene has his own salary cap and doesn’t want to pay up and yet complains his arena is empty and threatening to off load the team. My my just a few years if it wasn’t for a good soul to help him with his failing organ (forget which specific one) he wouldn’t still be here. Usually ones perspective changes over a near death experience. Some people sadly never change.

I’m sorry if this has already been asked and answered but, what’s the deal with this prospect. Looks like a steal of a pick yet we haven’t found room to sign him to an ELC. I understand we are close to the 50 contract limit but you’d think that with the position of weakness in our organization that we would’ve given this kid a contract yet. Just curious because it would be great to see him at the youngstars games and a few preseason games to see what he is made of.

That report was right, there was that massive quake in Indonesia. I’ve never been more sure to go out and get an earthquake kit then I do now. These next coming weeks and possibly months will be interesting to see how accurate this becomes. Stay safe people.

I don’t know exactly what the limitations are for spending the money on what, I know they plan on spending some of it on their academy. I think you can use the funds towards that, players and facility upgrades (so perhaps BC place grass could be in that boat). This much I do know is that they would have to talk to the city (or whoever owns BC Place as the whitecaps owners do not own all of BC Place) for approval on the grass if they happen to go down that road. I hope for soccers sake in this city that they do, after bailing on the bid for the World Cup, this city needs something to be excited for when it comes to the beautiful game.

Now we are down two centers so for sure Gaudette should get the call, perhaps Gagner as well. Beagle is out 4-6 weeks and we have no idea about EP. hockeyGaud has two goals in two games with Utica? So probably a good time to call him up when his confidence is going. Silver linings.

I hope for a strong finish to the season, however I feel like the real problem is Bobby. We have to spend that money on natural grass for BC place for us to ever dream of luring a clutch striker. Nobody wants to play on our turf and nobody wants us to waste that Alfonso Davis money on no name South Americans anymore either! Give the loyal caps fans what they deserve and if Bobby can’t do it then find someone who will.

I watched Venom and thought that it was better then what it’s getting on rotten tomatoes. It has flaws as most movies do but I look forward to what’s next depending on the movies success.
