But oil makes more then like all those together and then to add insult alberta's beef and grain probably beats a few of those also. And media well Calgary has plenty of movies filmed over there and one of the best t.v shows heartland so yea it's not like our other industries don't punch above their weight class....but name another industry in oils weight class? Lol

Don't forget tourism......

Yes but that program is like sitting on a horse with a noose around your neck hoping no one slaps your horse out from under you...... alberta is thinking jobs are better then hands out....... the program is good but it's a band aid.....

What's the difference between a recession and a plague? Both kill just in different ways.... i just don't get it......we now see the strength we have by pulling together but we couldn't pull together even after Canada bought the pipeline...... its stupid.......when both ways Canada benefits....... I hope your right but imho I don't see a difference Canada will lose people either way..... it's just sad cause it was all over a dick size contest

I'm mad cause when ever Alberta needs something they need to beg..... I think you mean if the pipeline gets built.......it's been approved for awhile..... yes I know we are getting the same programs only problem is I knew guys before this about to lose their shirts.....

Picture if the pipeline went in when JT bought it or when Morgan owned it , Canada as a whole would have been better off financially....also prices have slowly dropped , it's only the pasted what year maybe that oil prices have dropped off a cliff..... ha we have heard that before......once it's done I'll say thank you and stop complaining im mad cause during a crisis we all pull together but during Albertas time of need they got nothing ......

I didn't mention taxes.....I was talking about how now we are working together cause of all Canada is at risk but when Alberta sorry when Canada needs a pipeline to a coast it's like pulling teeth......but as everyone can see all of Canada will be entering a recession...... rather then working together like now we divided each other and all of a sudden a lot of Canada left Alberta out to dry.....can you say any different? Oil money paid for that PPE everyone just got.......

What ever I'm done. A recession can kill just as many as a plague.......

Okay a guy dies from the virus and one dies from the stress of losing his house and job..... both things kill people just different ways....but both can be prevented by putting Canada first. i never said it was Alberta against everyone.....I said there has to be a better relationship between the provinces and it can't be just a take relationship, it has to work both ways more evenly......

But it has to be a give take relationship not just a take.....you have to agree that it's been slanted for far to long...... also why can't another province step up? Why can't Alberta just be an oil province and one province going threw hard times shouldnt bring all of Canada to it's knees..... i feel Alberta is entitled To put what ever industry first just like in b.c and tourism....... also Alberta is so much more then just oil but you show me a way to make billions off cattle or grain and I'm all ears.....

Ha but thx to Alberta everyone rode high on the hog......got to share the wealth you know...... Alberta is Canada when Canada wants something but Alberta wants something then that's a different story can you tell me any different ?

But Alberta could have held on to all that stuff just incase.....also wasn't Alberta thinking about leaving but they still put Canada first and if you look at Alberta always has. You always like remind me of liberal bail outs but what about all the times Alberta has bail us out? Also that resource project would have made it a lot easier for Canada and maybe Canada wouldn't be printing money like crazy.....you want people to stay home....but what happens when their EI runs out? Theres a bigger lesson here though we all need each and to keep each other in check but we need to work together on everything not just world crises.... In theory their both similar ......a job can save a life just as easy as a needle...... it's true though......like I said at the end of the post I hope this betters the understanding of the provinces and will help them work together but Alberta took the high road again.......

Not to be that guy but the rest of Canada already proved they wouldn't ......and once again ( we tried to two different pipeline ideas and both coasts said no) Alberta answers the bell.....they always do...... maybe after this , Canadians will understand why albertans are pissed off. Seems like Alberta is always there to bail Canada out but if Alberta needs something then it's like pulling teeth...... Your right the people matter but they need jobs to go back too.... Sorry I'm done..... but it is nice to see people put there differences aside and help each other. I hope after this we all understand each other better and will put all of Canada first instead of this dick size contest that only hurts the people.....

His just upset cause he knows there's parts of b.c that live off what albertans spend there.......living off tips would upset me too...... cause they don't get the new arenas or the benifits..... even look outside of Canada people from outside of b.c raise their house prices up and take away your beautiful views and not to mention the animals getting pushed out of their homes cause of vaction homes and golf courses ......

But when that one sector dictates if other industries survive then it's not 100% wrong......thx to that one sector we have a whack load of luxury companies......it's a house of cards and the oil and gas sector is our biggest card......pull it and everything falls..... also thx to oil sector and them paying them big money, a lot of Canada ballooned up thx to the boom cause when people make more money they spend more and do more. ( big money compared to other industries)

Okay, your a photographer right.... so your career is a luxury , your job only feeds your family threw the money it makes but it doesn't feed or provide heat like the oil and gas industry....... but tourist and luxury companies will be hit the hardest but not to be rude but those industries are the ones we should be worried about the least.....Grain , beef,milk and timber and so one should be the industries first on the save list. It's an ahole thing to say but some industries don't actually hold real value...... edit: my hay hailing has already taken a beating thx to oil prices and now thx to this virus and not to mention my horse training so now I just got cattle and a my investments , im in the same boat.

Yes but every other industry was weaker then.....that cushion allowed other industries to grow threw investments so without that boom , we would be in a even weaker spot for industries......two sides of the coin , can't look at just one without the other....

This what happens when tourism is one of the biggest earners and don't forget the ferry cost and so on, need people traveling to make money....

And people realize that Alberta holds more value then just oil.
