    Maybe. EK was drafted 16th. I would call him a franchise D man. Never know.

    No idea what this means. I loved Lumme. Just have higher expectations of a 5th overall than Lumme. That's just me.

    Again, I loved Lumme but he is not in our "ring of honour" and not a hall of famer. Yet he is our second best dmen all time. Sad. Not saying OJ will be but let's start looking for that hall of fame dman.

    I loved Lumme but Lumme isn't on most teams top 10 D men all time. He's on ours because our D history is tragic. Aim high young man.

    Easy fella. We have a good batch of prospects now. If 50% turn into good players we still have a couple years of drafts to build with. Think 3-5 years.

    Has anyone thought of a thread where people can post their top 30 before Friday and then it's locked. You could then then go back 3-5 years down the road and brag or skulk off into the weeds.

      I barely wade in there anymore.  To borrow from @Nuxfanabroad, I'll let the dreamers have their fun in the those threads.  The danger is if you spend too much time in those threads then you risk mistaking dreams for reality and get impatient and disappointed with the harsh realities of a rebuild.

      i dont care for them either, usually they either severely overvalue our players or severely undervalue them. Its very rare when you see one that actually seems like a workable deal

    Quick question, I have never read Canucks Army. Do they have scouts who travel and watch games? If not, really what good are these rankings?

    Patrick Kane did one bench press in his combine. Pretty good player with 2 cups and a league scoring title. Not saying Middelstat is Kane but for the most part these tests mean F all for what a player will be.
