    If Benning trades some prospects and possibly flips some roster players to acquire a Wayne Simmonds and a younger RD to fill the top 4, will you be satisfied?

     

    Personally, I would.

    We have the assets to trade. It's not like they're all going to make it down the road anyway.

     

    I think a playoff run this year is very important for our core and I'm fully expecting Benning to add this trade deadline.

      I think Simmonds is the kinda guy we need if were gonna make a run, especially if we run into Tkatchuk and the flames in the first round.

    First time seeing operations closing en masse (schools closed, my work closed 20 mins ago *woohoo!*) though it makes sense with how Translink basically got crippled... stay safe if you have to go anywhere

      I don’t know what’s more annoying the social media barrage of letting the world it snowed in Vancouver or how poorly translink responded to a snow fall..

      Had a buddy who played under Bab's years ago in the CHL in Prince Albert, he said just the mind games he'd play with players and rookies just took a toll.

    OT is becoming boring. More of a cat & mouse thing.  

    Overcoached, with minimzing risk the name of the game.

     

    Is there a rule change they can implement to ensure OT stays watchable?

      I agree, the whole doubling in and out game is not fun. When you enter the zone it should be continued to be played there until its cleared or blown dead.

      Couldn't agree more, guess we promote floating work ethic now.. 

      Should just make a floater line with Virtanen and LE.

       

      Think Graovac had a way better camp then Schaller..

    The Comets are gonna be just as interesting to track as the Canucks this season, assuming we're not ravaged by injuries yet again. They're looking pretty damn solid for an AHL squad.

    Anyone else think NHL 17 sucks I still play it since its hockey but its awful the AI and the gameplay suck.

    Been offered Giroux for my Ovechkin/Faulk in a long term keeper league pts only. I see Ovechkin on a slow decline and Giroux is 3 years younger and a center who is more likely to get pts. Thoughts? :D

      Faulk is pretty prone to injury, Ovi has way more upside and brings a bit more then those two. You cant keep up Ovi shoots.
