    Unlucky guys. I wasn't able to watch the game, but I'll check out the highlights today. Hopefully you'll build on this season, make a few additions over the winter/spring, *cough* get rid of Miller *cough* and have another go at it next year. I'll be rooting for Seattle for the rest of the playoffs.

    I was working last night and at the gym tonight so I missed them both. One of my friends put a bet on Arsenal forcing extra time when they were 4-1 down at HT. £10 at 14-1 isn't too bad at all.

    I'm surprised at the amount of criticism they're getting for playing "anti-football", but I really don't see how else you can approach Barca at the Nou Camp without getting torn to shreds. I think we'll see a more attacking minded team at Celtic Park (I'm going - so excited), but I think we'll still be content to sit back and defend. Yeah, the celebration was great. Terrible performance by the whole team today though. Mulgrew should not be playing midfield.

      It was a great game, if that's what you're referring to. Their defense was incredible. I've never really seen Barcelona shut down so effectively in a while.

      The only way to beat Barca is to park the bus and attack them on the counter or from set pieces. And considering Celtic's entire team cost less to assemble than Barca paid for David Villa I think it was a great performance. Forster was immense.

    To be fair to Miller, a good team is reliant on good midfielders providing service to the forwards. A striker's job is to score. The midfield is supposed to give them the opportunity to do so, and they didn't give him a sniff at anything last night.

    My observations based on this game: 1) Why the insistence on playing the long ball? It was clear it wasn't working in the first half. Far too much possession wasted by booting it up the pitch. 2) Why not have a go at them on the wing? I saw no effort to get it to anyone out wide to try and beat the defender down the wing. 3) Koffie might be strong when in possession, but he's a terribly sloppy passer of the ball. 4) Camillo did nothing of note to help the team and Miller was as poor as he is for Scotland. Robson wasn't very good either.

    6-0 to Honduras is pretty miserable. I don't get it. You'd expect Canada to be at the US's level at least, but no.
