  1. Nuri Sahin is a fantastic player. Liverpool would be lucky to have him.
  2. Damn. Dortmund lose the Supercup 2-1 to Bayern. Oh well. They lost it last year too and just ended up having a better season. C'mon Der BVB.
  3. Peterhead 2-2 "The Rangers" - LOL

  4. I'd put England around 10-12. I wanted Rosenberg at Celtic a while ago. Thought he would be decent for us, but not sure if he'll do well in the PL. And yeah, by the look of it Sevco are reverting back to their old ways of spending more than they take in.
  5. Holy crap! An away win... We are terrible though. Also, I apparently enjoy talking to myself.
  6. England are up to third in the world rankings.... what the f....?
  7. How are "The Rainjurs" able to afford all these signings? I mean, they're obviously being paid quite a bit. And more importantly, why do they feel they need them for the THIRD division? Something tells me there's some sort of league restructuring plan in place that'll give them a free pass next season.
  8. On average - almost £30. I think £26 is the cheapest. When you compare it to Canucks prices I guess it isn't so bad, but at least then you're getting to watch the best players in the world. Drop it to around £20 average and I could see more people going. Of course, that won't happen this season because season tickets have already been sold. They also haven't refunded the extra money on season tickets that was paid for the Old Firm games. Another thing is lack of investment in the team this year. Not a single new face. They're taking a real gamble by waiting to see if we qualify for the CL group stages and there will be outrage if they don't at least progress to the next qualification round. We've been crying out for a CB and target man for years.
  9. It was a pretty pathetic attendance. Some people only turn up when it suits them. For the "big games". Add in the fact that it was on Sky TV, a lunchtime kickoff, and the criminally high prices for a poor product.
  10. Was there on Wednesday against HJK. The place isn't looking too bad with all the regeneration around the stadium. Now if only they'd give it a lick of paint... 'Mon the Hoops
  11. Celtic brought back Chelsea Dagger as a goal song tonight... not sure how I feel about that.

  12. Anonymous and CDC?... I must have missed one of CDC's crazier nights.

  13. Nash to the Rangers, eh?

    1. :D

      :D

      Rangers to third division, eh?

  14. Not optimistic about it after that Ajax debacle. They need to buy a CB. That's been clear for ages. Still, I'll be at Parkhead supporting them next Tuesday/Wednesday. Faithful through and through and all that.
  15. I'm looking forward to getting away next Summer haha... I'm proud to be a Scot, but I'd choose Vancouver over Scotland any day. I guess people just enjoy being somewhere different than where they grow up.
  16. Can't blame the organisation. We are amazing. Not so much at football....
  17. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U0yelx6xcS8 Went old school (for me) for a change What a song that was.
  18. I hear Robson played well. Good to hear. Always a hard worker at Celtic and a likeable guy.
  19. Lies. Germany is my favourite country in Europe. The people can be a little reserved, but if you're willing to at least try to speak the language and make a little effort with them they're fine. Everywhere in Europe is expensive now anyway. I think (if my brother can get Sunday the 12th off work) we'll probably go to Munich, see the game on the Sunday night and then head for Frankfurt between Tuesday and Thursday since I've been to Munich already. Still have to see Dachau and stuff though so there are still things to do.
  20. Quick question guys. I'm going over to Germany at some point to watch Borussia Dortmund, but I'm not sure whether to watch them in Munich in the DFL SuperCup (sitting in the Dortmund end) or to see a game in Dortmund itself. If I go to Munich I get 4 days in Germany but if I see a Bundesliga game in Dortmund I only get two or three... I'm torn. Thoughts?
