I haven’t seen lui in the playoffs before. ive watched backes in the playoffs for both the blues and the bruins. backes proved to be quite useful for the bruins in the post season and he provides more “playoff” style game than what I have seen from lui during the 82’ over his tenure here. just for discussion sake, considering contracts, I do the swap straight up.

There is no doubt EK knew where Motte’s head was but other than that the hit was inevitable. The way motte skated in he was putting himself in a dangerous spot with all his momentum going towards the boards. Plus motte connected his own body to EK’s so the overall force of the impact was multiplied. i love mottes tenacity but sometimes you need to be safer.

@Monty Bought myself a large cast iron skillet and did rib eye steaks; in a marinade of: apple cider vinegar olive oil worsteshire sauce salt an pepper roast russets chic pea, avocado, grape tomato, feta salad it was the first time I’ve used apple cider in a steak marinade and I won’t repeat. It was good but not excellent. today however! Wow! Used the leftover steak, bought mushrooms, green peppers, onion, garlic, Serrano pepper, and jack/mozzarella/cheddar mix threw it all in the skillet and then on a crusty sub bun for lunch. insane good.
