  1. They clearly had Lind in the first though, they go off their own list, not the tsn ratings. I do agree though, I would of picked Hague (I had him in first). I was still stoked on Lind however.
  2. What makes you skeptical of jasek?
  3. Beagle or Benn Really liking the leadership we got, good vet presence.
  4. Glad this thread was finally made, surprised vintage didn't beat him to it.
  5. Baer or Miller, EP needs guys who can think the game at a high level. Ferland would work too no doubt.
  6. Disagree. It's short term and he's an absolute beast, even at 40-50pts it's a good contract. He's likely playing with hall, he will earn his money and more.
  7. Youth hockey too expensive. Weeds out so many potential players, to play top end hockey you need lots of money. Really hate the state of our programs.
  8. Hahaha I get what you mean haha. I just wanna see the best hockey be played.
  9. Guess im not a true fan. By your definition haha. I just love the game and vans my team but im constantly cheering for other teams, not over van tho.
  10. Well that's the question... If he comes back out of shape again, the same thing will likely happen. He won't make the team. I'd imagin he should b prepared the next time he decides to come over...if he does end up doing so.
  11. Baertschi on line 4...and on the right wing. What? Lol if he's healthy he is a top6 winger. 3rd line at worst... Miller EP boeser Baertschi Bo Ferland Pearson Sutter virt Leivo beagle motte Roussel coming back could likely push us to move someone as we have a bit of a logjam. Also im just assuming we deal Ericsson...hopefully. Honestly, our bottom 6 is solid if healthy and we have a handful of guys that can step up from Utica. Just need to stop getting hurt so much.
  12. I'll be honest tryamkin's first season wasn't great, and that's not Willie's fault. That doesn't mean I don't want him to return, he could still be a great 3rd pairing D man, I have a hard time seeing him taking on anything more than that as I don't think his skill set is as strong as 90% of the people on the board think. Coming to a new country was probably extremely tough for him, leaving family and friends to a place where he can't really even talk to anyone would suck. Especially at his age at the time. People calling him immature.....he was 22 years old when he left, of course he was immature. Lol it would be cool if he came back over but im not gonna hold my breath or worry too much about a guy who will likely just play bottom pairing minutes.
  13. That last clip though, don't give up on the puck. Hard to say if he made them look sooooo bad or if they were just sooooo bad lol
  14. There are so many factors as to why the offensive numbers dipped...not just match ups. Their roster was decimated, losing tkachuk, Dvorak and marner. Bunch of younger guys would eventually step up offensively, but the reason London continued to be extremely effective was because of their defensive game, led by juolevi. I wish he would be ready to step up but he's had some of the worst luck with injuries lol
  15. Can't wait to see him Duke it out with acciari for #52 in camp.
  16. As much as I agree stecher should start the season on the third pairing, I don't think it is out of the question that could could develop into a strong 4-5 D. I think he made some significant strides last year and can definitely continue building off of that. The kid hasn't peaked, he has more to show us me thinks.
  17. Big time stretch, Byram is a much better skater, much more confidence/creativity and assertiveness on the ice. I love juolevi but Byram is the better prospect by far at this point.
  18. Baer for a 5th. I'd rather keep him and play him 30 games a season then give him up for that return.
  19. A bit of a stretch for sure. His skating would be at best, a bit above average. Lots of stuff he still needs to work on for sure.
  20. Keep in mind he's been coming to most camps fresh off surgeries or injuries. The guy needs to regain the trust of his body...it's hard to put 110% in when you are worried something is gonna pop, pull or break. And again, he's coming to this camp after being out of competitive hockey since December.... He will look bad in camp again most likely, having a good chunk of time to start the season in Utica is crucial - he can't get hurt anymore or his NA career isn't looking good. I love the guy but this is do or die.
