    He is also an experienced professional now and captained his team(s) a couple times. Not a young man in a foreign land away from family and friends with very little English. Come on PA, come on Sergei, Kuz, Podz; get him and family over here. (I think a lot of him and think he will get more than a 2 x $2.5; and, he will have no problem making the team.)

    Yeah, like, "Don't get too excited about (enter any new player or prospect here), he probably won't amount to much (too small, too slow, etc)." Well, I am excited about JL. And this is the off season; a great time to be checking out the new young guns. Can't wait to see him on EP40's line; hopefully this summer. Man, they're gonna be magic together. G-U-A-R-A-N-T-E-E-D!

    Bear has to accept a big rake-back if he wants to be a Canuck. This coming season is the second tough slug; harsh decisions to shape the battlefield. No carry-overs to 24-25; and no pricey UFAs.

    Wonder what medical disclosures were made at the time of the trade (w/the Laffs)? Did we get shafted giving up that 3rd? More to the story? He played pretty well, when he played. Some posters on here did not like giving up the 3rd at the time.

    Love your handle; great show; thanks for picking this up. Lots to think about here, and CDC is starting to pick up the vibe. I like new mngt, plays cards close to vest, boots unfaithful, good, deep scouting and follow up, accountability, etc. So I'm a homer! Sue me! lol I am enjoying The Canucks.

    FX Rates are a bit over-considered, imo. If we want to get Big Nik over, I would see what Diamond (?) agency had to offer in the effort to get him out of Russia; that state is on the brink of collapse; in other words, I wouldn't take a thousand Rubblies for a US $ on the street today. Every body who can, should try and exit from the turmoil that is extant there.

    Well, isn't there a Ukraine War thread or something where it would be appreciated (by me anyway) to have it continue? In the context of this thread, I have already said my piece (that is, that 'Lias has this covered, and then some, and others suggested other award qualifications, with which I also agree).
