Ya dude hasn’t seen him play and already gave up haha

This is a great trade for Vancouver. Kravtsov 23 - 6'3 - 205, with  lots of talent just never really fit with NYR-- Lots of upside..

Trading Lockwood 5'10 -24 we already have lots of small forward...Kravtsov has lots more upside and we already have 4 Russians for him to fit in with..

    Excited about this player..

Dubois is having a breakout year for the Winnipeg Jets, 24 goals and 31 assists for 55 points in 58 games. He put up 28 goals and 32 assists for 60 points in 82 games last season.

He's big, strong, and he'll be 25 in June. He's a very important player for the Jets, but can they afford to keep him? Will he want to stay in Winnipeg? He'll be a pending RFA at the end of the season and I don't recall seeing much lately about the negotiations between both parties. What if he doesn't? There was all the hubbub about him wanting to be a Hab but they've locked down Suzuki and are in the mix for yet another lottery pick. They also went out and grabbed Dach.

What would it cost to acquire such a player? Jets have a hard time attracting, and sometimes retaining, players. Would they have any interest in a JT Miller with a pending extension? What else would it take on top of that? Because of course it'd take more. Scheifele is up next season, due to for a raise, so is Hellebuyck. Wheeler is old but productive, the rest of the Jets top players are prime aged veterans. Jets have to look to the future but I don't see them wanting to rebuild.

What would an extension cost us in terms of dollars and cap space? Would we be able to get a more palatable deal than the Jets given he'd be based out of Vancouver instead of Winnipeg?

If we could somehow wrangle Dubois and extend him we'd have an amazing 1-2 punch down the middle. Dubois is big, strong, talented offensively, and young. An eight year extension would take him to almost 33, you'd get all of his prime and it wouldn't bleed into his later 30's.

    This trade never happens -- Dubois 24 - 6'3 - 205 -- #1 centre --Jets will try and lock him up 8 years X 9.5 million

If Jets can't lock him up this summer they will call Montreal...

No way do Jets want 30 yr old Miller this summer at 7 yrs X 8 million..

If the GM could pull these moves off that would be some major surgery I would say, nicely done! Not sure if we can get those returns for all the trades but I like them, especially dumping Myers, although I wouldn't retain 50% on Myers, let Chicago do that next TDL to get the higher draft pick. Chicago has the cap room, maybe they take him for free at the draft or after SB is paid July 1?

Myers 1 yr left and signing bonus paid out July 1st..So only 1 million remaining so Myers will be easy to trade after July 1st...

Miller, Beauvillier & Schenn (eat a couple mill of JT's expiring contract yr)

    Jets: PLD & Logan Stanley

    Sign PLD to an 8x8

EP & PLD would be a sweet top 2 C's

Jets might take the plunge, as their market doesn't attract many top FA's. Wheeler is gone in a yr, so they can commit to another vet.

This trade will never never happen..If Pierre Luc Dubois -24 - 6'3 - 220 #1 centre decides he wants a trade it would be Montreal..

Jets would want more then Miller 29 personality -- Beauvillier 25 W - Schenn ?? Jets have lots of wingers Beauvillier 3rd line winger with Jets.

    Schenn 33 - #7maybe #8  guy with Jets..

So basically Miller for Dubois -- Never never never -- Jets will try and lock PLD this summer 8 yrs X 9.5 million..

If not Jets will make big trade with Montreal for PLD..

  7. Jake Livingstone 6'4- RD -210lbs - 24 yrs old April-- With Vancouvers defence there will be openings available if he is talented enough to challenge for a spot..

    Will be interesting to follow..

Filip Johansson - 6'1 -  RD --185 lbs - 23 yrs old March --Wonder if Johansson will come play in Abby after SHL season is over?

Would be great to see him play some AHL game and see his talent ..

I can own it if im wrong but his value is a 2nd + without a doubt.

Taking Reilly from the Bruins well they would consider him a cap dump but in Vancouver he would be an improvement on the Tucker Poolman's of the world. Giving them Schenn and taking Reilly's contact away + Boston's first likely being around 30th its not a reach.

Connor Mackey has maybe not had the opportunity to establish himself yet, could be resigned cheap too on top of a 2nd not a bad option.

I'd probably lean towards the Boston scenario though.

    Hope your right..

    Would you rather:

    Schenn to Calgary for

    * LD 26yrs old Connor Mackey 912k caphit expiring

    * 2024 Flames 2nd rd pick

    or to Boston for

    * LD 29yrs old Mike Reilly 1.875m caphit expires after next season

    * 2023 Bruins 1st rd pick

    ???

Can't see a 1st rounder for Schenn....If team offers 2nd rounder for 33 year old very slow #6 --#8 D man..Yes he plays tough but come on 2nd rounder

would be awesome.. Lets trade him before he gets hurt playing his style..

Schenn has almost double the points, five times the hits and is 13 plus minus rungs above Gavrikov despite playing 5 minutes less a night in similar deployment. Schenn also makes 3 times less, can fight and has 2 cup rings.

No way gavrikov goes for the rumoured ask.

Serious Schenn 33 - can fight, slow -- not going to get better. sure he has won a cup and can fight? I would still rather have the 27 year old D man that can play 22 minutes ..

Gavrikov 27 - 6'3 -220 lbs - plays 22.00 minutes most games a much better player then Schenn..

Trade Schenn before he gets hurt, 2nd rounder or prospect..... Vancouver will be bottom half of league 16th--22nd next season again..

I know it's a ridiculous ask, but I wouldn't trade him for any less than a late 1st, especially if Schenn wants to stay here. We need more guys like him, not less.

Schenn is 33 year4s old? If you can get a 2nd rounder or prospect you must trade him? Canucks are 18th to 22nd next year Schenn will get slower and might be a # 7 OR # 8 guy soon..

He is playing in the SHL. Why would they bring him here to play CHL?

Did I not say he is developing well in Sweden? Just wondering if  Canucks Developing group might want him closer to work closer with him?

He could play in AHL Abby Canucks or WHL team..

To CLB: $1M retention on OEL

    Aidan Mcdonough

To VAN: $2M retention on OEL

    Shakir Mukhamadullin or Kevin Bahl

    To NJD:

    OEL ($4M AAV cap hit)

$5M in cap savings for the Canucks.

NJ Devils would never do this deal?? They have Luke Hughes 6'2 -19 future # 2 D  also Nemec -18 -6'1 Future # 1 D man..

They don't need OEL--- NJ Devils could use  offensive winger but not D men,,

We also have Elias Petterson (18...turns 19 this month ) - LD 6'3 196 lbs coming down the pipeline a year or so later.

The D-prospects are getting bigger and better. They all won't make the NHL but some might. The most promising D's (we've selected) seem

to come in the 3rd round recently...would love to add a couple more 2nd or 3rd round draft picks this season.

Yes Pettersson 18 -6'3 has had a fantastic season and now a top 3 prospect after this season.

wonder if Vancouver have plans for him to play in WHL or keep developing in Sweden? Elias has had a great season and developing well in Sweden

also only 18..He should be top pairing next year at WJ U20 Turney

I sure hope Canucks sign Truscott 20 - 6'1 - 185 lbs to a pro contract.- Never want see prospect play there last season and then they become free agent to sign anywhere. I think Truscotte would improve the most turning pro and working daily with new development team..]

Wpi;d also be great to see these prospect come to Vancouver and play in Abby..

Big Jurmo  20 6'4 D man  -  Johansson 22 RD 6'1 both will benefit playing in the AHL next season along with Truscotte..

Lekkereimaki 18 -W - Needs to come over and play in WHL hope Giant can work something out so he close to Canucks developing coaches..

How high the return is for Schenn depends more on the acquiring teams need and possible desperation. I can easily see a 2nd rdr coming back.

Have to trade Schenn 33 - RD going to get slower..Need more Schenn's on a team..Plays the game the right way..

Very aggressive , always there for teammates and always plays hard...Real team guy!

Must trade him for pick or prospect at his age..Will help top 10 contender..

Clarke is in the deal for sure. I’d prefer Turcott to bustaroo Byfield. But the Coyotes are tiring to market their club. So I’m thinking they’d accept Byfield with Clark. Clark to help them win. And Byfield the name to help marketing.

I agree Byfield has upside 6'4 C only 21 along with Clarke 20 RD great building blocks along with there 6'5 Swedish goalie prospect only 20...

Coyotes have so many picks and prospects team with be moving up standings soon..
