I assume he can't be sent to Abby as he wasn't "papered" to go there before the AHL TDL and can't play in their playoffs anyway. I could be wrong on that. Hopefully he gets a call to play in the World Championships.

I agree with moving on and not making a huge stink about this, but that "moment of jubilation" showed his true colours of how he felt about his time here. There was no need to mention anything about Vancouver, the question asked of him did not present any reason to do so. He chose to do it and maybe it was a slip on his part, but it's a moment of truth rather than a canned response. I was still rooting for his success when he was traded, but now it's not that I wish ill of him, I just simply don't care anymore.

I felt like there was no need to mention anything about Vancouver from the question. He was asked about the atmosphere looking for a response to hype the crowd up. His response felt personal.

Would be no different than IRL having new teams joining in for an expansion draft. I assume there would be rules so you can protect the top half of your assets anyway. With that said, I also would like to add that I think these new expansion teams should be exclusive to new GMs only, so the current GMs should be planning accordingly for upcoming expansion.

I am for this with hopefully the notion of having an expansion draft to bring these teams back with new GMs at some point in the near future. I think that idea might be more exciting for newcomers to build their team from scratch instead of taking on a very challenging roster to rebuild.
