For a goalie so big, why does Marky continue to get beat top shelf? He's played great and a major reason why we're still alive, but I'm sure I'm not the only person seeing a pattern on the goals Vegas is scoring.

Guess I haven't been watching enough intermission/post game talk. The one time I did tune in he was talking about BoHo being his choice for the Conn Smythe.

Before the injury, the trade was looking really good for us. Schaller (wasn't much of a loss/factor for us), Madden (liked him and looked promising, but FAR from a sure thing), a 2nd and a 4th (ONLY if TT signs an extension) for a Top 6 player who put up 10PTS in 10GP really isn't too high of a price. Need to remember that our prospect pool has improved significantly the last couple years. At some point some of these prospects need to be used to improve the roster and move this roster forward. Not every single prospect will make this team or pan out. There just isn't enough room for everyone. We still have guys like Pods, Hogs, Lind, Lockwood, Big Mac. Even now it is hard to see all these guys all playing for us in the near future. I hope so, but more than likely a couple will be moved along to improve other aspects of the team.

Well, if we don't advance past the 2nd round, looks like that 1st rounder sits at 24. No problem there.

Obviously STL is gonna bring it tonight. Just need the boys to improve getting the puck out of their own end. Just a little improvement over what we saw the last half of last night’s game, and I think we’re good.

By the time EP & QH need to be signed... Sven, Sutter, Benn and even Edler are off the books. Not to mention other players that may not get resigned before that time comes such as Jake, Pearson, Toffoli, Stecher, Fanta, Marky etc. Not all these guys can come back in a cap world. We've got younger guys that will promoted by then. Cap wise it is not all doom and gloom. In all honesty, Ferland could be on LTIR much like Savard and Horton have been by that time.

Think outside the box and get league approval only to have rule changes allow the league to punish you after giving you the go ahead.
