Let it be said that Sutter understands what Goldobin needs to work on:
“When he has the puck he makes pretty good plays,” said Sutter. “The challenge for him is the other side of it, what to do without the puck and that takes some time to really learn it. You have to have the want to get the puck to go into the corners and the hard areas.
“To do that, you have to have grit and balls and he has to find that.”

I agree with all of these opinions, even the ones that lightly conflict. @Art Vandelay Don't apologize to me for having long thoughts. I encourage then around this joint, as long as they aren't hot air puffs of crap. Yours has well thought out points to consider.

Not every skill guy is gonna compare to a grinder like Sutter. I think the advanced stats show Sutter is a awful playmaker and is an anchor offensively as a shoot first center not to mention he has been brutal with the Sedins despite being gifted prime pp time.
Goldy has more skill rolling out of bed in the morning than Sutter does sniffing cow dung back on the farm in the summer.
