These are pretty low risk fringe moves. Not likely to cost us anything but not providing much more than warm bodies. Doesn't really move the needle.

It doesn't matter how fast you are when you come to a team that plays slow. Always the slowest team on the ice, guys that are supposed to be good and fast come here and look like slugs. Mikheyev just the latest in a long list. Bruce had them flying when he came last year, that was the biggest difference he made. The team was aggressive all over the ice and played fast, now they are back to sitting back playing passive like every season under Green. You play like that and you can't win in this league.

Oh I never expect a Canucks win, I've been around too long. But Carolina is one of the teams I follow and I always try to enjoy these ones.
