    I know this is wishful thinking but I don't think it's too outlandish to think that the Holm / Leipisic trade will be regretted by McPhee as much as he regretted the Erat / Forsberg trade.

     

    Really looking forward to seeing him play the rest of the year.

     

    I think acquiring players in their early 20s is just as good as draft picks. Kudos to Mr Jim Freakin Benning. He's %100 got my support... which wasn't the case all 2017.

    Bring home a cup and you can go down as the greatest GM in franchise history. For the time though, I think that title belongs to Mike Gillis.

      You lost me at Mike Gillis lol I was impressed with Leipsic against NYR. Fast, skilled and feisty, just what the team needs. He's young too, so in a way he's a prospect who is NHL ready. That was a good trade. Holm was never in the plans. Training camp just got tougher.

      I'd also like to see a Leipsic - Horvat - Boeser line. I think they'd be fast and furious.

      Pat Quinn is by far the greatest GM of all time.  Leipsic-Horvat-Boeser looks like the missing piece was finally found, at least for now.  Credit to Green for putting that line together straight away.

       

      I was worried we'd given a pick away when I heard about the trade as it was pretty clear in my books we were the winners.
