Look... I understand your consternation around the new management. Not so much because of them, but as you mentioned the past couple admins. The benning group really threw us for a loop. They drafted half decently (compared to previous regimes... Which isn't hard lol!) But otherwise it was a $&!# show for 8 years. However, what are we supposed to do? In my view, the new management has a clean slate to prove their worth. I believe they're doing their due diligence. That takes time usually and the market has a say as well. I think we'll have a trade very soon... And we'll be happy enough with the return. Cheers

yes Joshua, Lazar, and Lockwood are a start. Not dirty... Maybe on the edge? But definitely hard to play against. I agree we need are are starting to get players that play a tougher, grittier brand of hockey... And we may need a couple more.

You don't see selfish play on ice, no obvious cheap shots, or intent to injure. They play the right way... I'll take that over dirty, selfish players any day.

I was using an example of the most volatile... Sometimes slightly questionable character player. Whereas boeser, petey, podkolzin, Horvat, Demko... Etc all have high character. We have no low character players on the nucks.

Then be a Boston fan.... I don't want rat players or rat fans. That's the way you used to win cups... As a matter of fact... Boston was the last teams filled with goons and rats to win the cup. I want a team more modeled after the Blues. Hard to play against, no quit, gritty, with skill, tons of character and will beat you by working harder and the right way. You can keep your Boston model thanks.

All 3 of these guys of these guys mentioned have questionable character... Super high skill, low character. Teams are paying for their past numbers, skill and potential but I think teams need to change their idea how they weight or measure value of a player. Miller has more character then all these guys combined.... And that's including his little temper tantrum from time to time. Who would you want to go to battle with and have your back? Isn't that worth a lot? Me thinks so. Even with there numbers don't want them on my team.

Truth is, Tkachuk, Gudreau, and Monahan all have serious character flaws. To many poor attitudes on the same team. I'm kind sad because I knew they'd never win with these guys. Now, if he's traded... No when he's traded, fLames will get a kings ransome in return (hope not!!!!). You know, during the 16' draft, when it was the nucks pick... I figured we'd pick Tkachuk... He was consensus bpa, when that didn't happen, I figured that Linden stepped in to make sure we didn't take him, due to the fact that he's his father's son... All about himself, not a team player. Linden was looking for character guys... (Unfortunately Juolevi was not high character either) the nucks felt Matthew wasn't one of them. If this was the case, nucks management was right... But I doubt they expected MT to become as dominate as he's become. Picking Juolevi didn't help either... Makes you wonder, if we had picked him, would he have done the same to us?

The last time there was solid player development in this organization was when the Manitoba Moose under (cheveldayoff) were overseeing our guys (kesler, bieksa, bourdon, rypien, finding and developing burrows. First time we've invested and taken over development of our prospects properly. About time!

Friedman mentioning the preds as potential suitors for a JT trade looks like a good fit. They are weak at c and they can afford to let Fabbro go. They're in win now mod with lots of veterans. If traded, that's where I'd lay my bet.
