You see a couple of highlights, that's the problem. Youtube or vids never show the lowlights or screwups witch guys have during games, that separates the cream from the crap. If you are a high end prospect you make your own puck luck and that's called iq, sorry but Virtanen hasn't showed any of that so far.

Wasn't that the game that all the Canuck brass was in attendance? seems he went back to his normal self after that. I don't know why people are upset about Price, he raises a lot of points that a lot of Canuck fans have about Virtanen. Even Benning and Linden have had lukewarm answers regarding this kid vs when he was drafted. Virtanen has a long long road ahead of him.

Tomlinson is around the team all the time unlike all of CDC. He mentions Virtanens lack of commitment at practice and people on here freak out and call him an ass clown. He was right that's why Virtanen is in the AHL not the NHL.

That's what happens when you have guys playing above their pay grade as 1st line Damen. Both Gudbranson and Hutton are having a tough time against top lines..it's going to get worse the better the teams they face.

I guess you have never watched Lidstrom or Keith play, not the most physical d-men but incredible with sticks and positioning. Keith is a d-bag as well that never physically punishes guys except with cheap shots. Tryamkin makes more great plays with his stick as well, the game has slowly getting away from the neanderthal slow big d-men.

I'm the opposite Phill i think Gudbranson is dragging down Hutton, put Tanev a cerebral player with Hutton and watch the difference it will make.
