Wonder how the NFC east will shake out this year, it was a friggin dog's breakfast for most of last year. Sad for maybe the greatest division in NFL history, loved it when they bulldozed their way to superbowl after superbowl. Was always pulling for the Eagles to get one making it a pure superbowl division.

C'mon man Dorsett was like an anchor when he played with Bo or anybody in the top 6. He also does take penalties at the wrong time and lot's of them. He is a 4th line grinder that should only get 6 minutes a game instead of 12-14 playing on the 2nd or 3rd line in a lot of games Willie style. I have never seen a guy get set up in the slot 5ft from the net and smash the puck 5ft wide of it than Dorsett. Youtube videos? for every one he wins there are 10 not shown where he gets fed big time.

That was a couple of years ago but we will get it first hand over the next few years, hopefully he can maintain those stats.

Can he maintain those numbers in this division/conference?

You can also bulk up too much and end up like a slug on the ice, lets see how he comes into camp first. Kessel might be a cookie monster but his shot is 10x what Virtanen has now, along with somehow scoring 30+ goals a year.

Yeah he keeps this up he might find himself in Utica before camp even starts. He looked pudgy when the Canucks had that one event during the season where he did the Kareoke thing.

Glad you got on board, if you have a week end off i suggest binge watch all the seasons 1-5, you will be hooked big time. If you missed the 1st season of True Detective it's a must as well.

Yeah it was a strange trip for years. I got sicker than a dog for about 2 months and was told it was gall stones that was causing my skin to go yellow and piss the color of coke, eventually got better and went on with life. Many years later i gave blood at a blood drive and later got a letter from Health Canada that i had Hep C and seek help immediately. I go see a liver specialist and go through blood tests and ultra sound and sit there and wait stressed out for a week. I go back and see the specialist and he says here is your get out of jail free card. He says i am one of the very few that has only the antibodies and not the infection..very rare. Yeah a strange trip it's been.

True tho the tat joints back in the day were not the cleanest, not anywhere close to what they are now. No health reg's or any of what artists today comply with.

30/40 goals are very hard to get in the NHL lately might want to temper expectations a bit.

When I was in the Navy in 1970 I got a tat on my leg in San Diego drunk on the way back from T Town a horrible tattoo. Got a couple of Tiger sharks on my shoulder from Sailor Jerry's joint in Honolulu the same trip....never found out what joint gave me a life long gift in Hep C.

In the scrum at the end of the game last night when McCann was into it with a coil Granlund was looking hard for an escape route. Soft is soft and there is Granlund soft. What a useless trade....Weisbrod says it all.

One thing i don't like about Granlund is he bails when the game gets nasty like the Jets game as well as the Ducks game. We have a whole team of those guys, need some friggin size and nasty in the bottom 6 if we are going to compete in this division.

Love this big guy so far, he has been a surprise to say the least. I was thinking he was only going to get sheltered minutes but so far he has handled everything the coaches have given him and has taken it like a pro.

I'm not sure i want Virtanen to answer the bell after knocking out one of their stars if he even could. Remember the Sbisa beatdown after a basic clean hit. Winnipeg has some nasty goon level guys and Byfugly would be looking for Virt all game after that. Virt can hit but not at the level that the Fugly can bring.
