  1. No fans in the stands if he plays again in Bean Town so maybe we won't have to sit through a tribute video, shown on TSN again and again. Plus I really want to see what happens when he plays against Marchand you never know what either one of those two might do.
  2. 353 NHL Games with 7 teams since 2013 that's an average of 50.43 games per team. Hmmmmm
  3. December 16, 2020 Petey getting the love https://www.nhl.com/news/super-16-rankings-top-nhl-forwards/c-319823812 16. Elias Pettersson, Vancouver Canucks Total points: 28 Pettersson, a 22-year-old center, scored 66 points in each of his first two NHL seasons; he had 27 goals and 39 assists in 68 games last season, when he scored 18 points (seven goals, 11 assists) in 17 postseason games to help the Canucks reach the Western Conference Second Round for the first time since losing the Cup Final in 2011. 4. 6000 ft above sea level and skate all day. Those athletes are in some good shape
  5. Wow how about that Schmidt guy!!!
  6. He is normally part of the crew that trains in Kelowna during the offseason. Maybe it will do Jake some good playing against Weber & Seabrook with Price in net.
  7. I don't recall exactly how it went, but wasn't it Roger Nielson who said something like "it works for Howie" when the media asked him why he used so much video?
  8. https://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=160279 Josh Ho Sang a late first round pick but it looks like his new contract is for playing in the AHL, Jake is an NHL player, and I think he will do well for Vancouver
  9. https://www.nhl.com/news/jake-virtanen-signing-update-news-status/c-319294716?tid=281072352 Good article on Jake, at least he is saying the right things, and it sure sounds like management have set out the guidelines.
  10. Bo at #3, https://www.nhl.com/video/top-10-plays-of-the-2020-playoffs/t-277350912/c-5420300 What an awesome young team, and yes the "young" shows up as well. It also shows that other teams had to really be great to beat this team.
  11. Wow Quinn Hughes Ranked #4 in NHL Fantasy Draft https://www.nhl.com/news/nhl-fantasy-hockey-top-50-defenseman-rankings-pools/c-282830728?tid=277729150 Way to go young man!
  12. This guy is clearing house! It will be interesting to see who he brings back in.
  13. Fantasy hockey ranked at #8, way to go Petey https://www.nhl.com/news/nhl-fantasy-hockey-top-100-forward-rankings-pools/c-282775028?tid=277729150
  14. Jamie Benn may be playing the best hockey of his career when he played for Kelowna he could be dominant. I have followed the 5th round (129) overall pick become the team Captain, have some epic fights (Jumbo Joe) and win me money in my hockey pool. If one team from the west has to win it all it should be Dallas, Vegas deserves to get punted. Can't wait for next years Canucks.
  15. The Canucks will most likely be full of nervous energy, the vets will settle things down. Meaningful games in the second round will bring out the best in this team. Markstrom, Miller, Sutter, to name a few most likely playing injured, and don't give a spit they will play through it. They need the young stars for sure, I would like to see something from maybe Pearson or Gaudette to help spread out the scoring. It's been a crazy year, a great playoff run, and some really good comments, some maybe not so much, thanks to all, especially for GDT. See you tomorrow
  16. Some love for the flow from the NHL of all places NHL Top 15 Right Wings 13. Brock Boeser, Vancouver Canucks Total points: 40 Season stats: 45 points (16 goals, 29 assists) in 57 games Career playoff stats: N/A Boeser has been one of the more productive right wings in the NHL during the past three seasons with 156 points (71 goals, 85 assists) in 188 games. Among right wings during that time, he's tied for 15th in goals, tied for 16th in points and 12th in points per game (0.83; minimum 100 games) despite being 58th in games played.

  18. I want to be a fly on the wall if Petey ever gets a sniff of this thread.
  19. Rambling Joe picks Hilary Clinton to be VP, then has "a moment" or another scandal, has to step down or step back, Hilary then becomes the presumptive candidate. She has the war chest, the machinery in place and a lot of high profile people from "The Club" (insiders) she can call on. And she really, really wants another shot at Trump, maybe even literally. Not a very nice person to be sure (I really don't like her), but this is a very real possibility.
  20. Always wore my jersey's on the ice, been a fan for years, the only jersey I have ever bought and wear for games is Petey's. I think with so much focus on him by the other teams best defenders, this is freeing up his team mates a little and it's showing on the score sheet. Full confidence in this young man, and if he is true to form, the playoffs or a championship challenge is always where he seems to really shine. GCG
  21. Ah even if I am old as mold never went to Vegas and do the whole " gamble with my life not my money or my wife" so thanks for the odds explanation. I just really think the guys are changing a lot of people's minds on how good they are, I wonder what's Hughes odds are to win the Calder?
