If we draft at 11, I hop we get one of Dvorsky or Reinbacher and if we tarde down one of Strabak or Stenberg but my fall back hopes are.......... Wood and Sandin Pellikka as a fall back

I think where this discussion is going, really spells out that Allvin has options at and around this draft.........

Well, if we walked away with Stenberg, Peeke, and Strabak..................I would be over the moon! Could you imagine!

Again, you can see how the value of the picks makes a difference. I think there is a world where we could really make a splash.......... I still have this feeling that Boeser is going to Pittsburg and we get their 2023-1st in some world, where we retain. It obviously would involve other pieces, but I think it is there, as Pittsburg's Crosby and Malkin, are going to get 1 maybe 2 more wacks at the cat, then that is it, so they need to give them pieces to work with. So, I could see us with another pick coming out of that. IMO, I think it just matters who is still on the board at 11 or if we move up...........again, what are your assets you are using to do that?

I like the thoughts, but.... When I look at the Canucks, IMO we have a good group of forwards, but IMO, we need to find one more driver of offense for them. I mean it's hard to say, but what I seen this year was we were offensively good, but not great, and when Pettersson got shut down, it was really noticeable. And yes that happens to most teams when their star gets shut down, but not the top teams that have multiple drivers. In saying that, we also need that one more defenseman..........IMO we are close. Hammers idea of a Dman and a pick, looks good to me, if we can get it. It seems reasonable and within reach. CBS 2023-1st (23rd) and Peeke, looks really good if we can take Strabak with our new 23rd. But then again, if we have grabbed Peeke, we will look pretty good on RHD, and maybe we should grab a LHD Russian.....lots of choices in his scenario........I actually like it more than just straight picks @hammertime

Oh.absolutely no problem. I actually had not given your idea any thought.......I guess it matters what is available when it is our turn. I could see chicago going for it......I like Peeke, as he fits our core better in age. I think with so many outstanding picks this year.........there will an interesting draft ahead

Thanks for answering my question They caution, not to use one tournie as an assessment, which is why I asked And there were alot of players out.......including the top 4 in the world so....it is screwed things up for sure........ I guess, all I can take out of it, is he is solid, and well deserving of being a 1st rounder So ow many guys looked better on this one.........Smith, Lenard, Perreault, Dvorsky, Sandin Pellikki (sp), Wood, ??????? Strabak......I don't think too many more I guess what confuses me is his earlier rankings.aka late 1st round.......to go to 12-15 is a big jump.......I am confused.......nice player though! I guess it matters what you really want..I have seen many different charts......all pretty much the same......guidelines really the difference being a mid 3rd.........not really much difference most mid 3rds are same as mid 4th............long shots!

That is kind of what I seen as well. But in saying that, he managed quite well, in the Bronze game. Kept up with his line mates and made plays that count.

Really interesting read.totally agree, and you picked out some additional guys i agree with.........Lindstein, Wallander....and Strabak.....I loved them, as well. Question for you............my gut says Stenberg played well enough to break into the early teens.... 12- 15 ish...........only one tournie but, I just really liked his game!

Hey Guys this is almost a joke to say, but if it gets around to me again.............I am a big pass! @canuck2xtreme I would just like to say, that I was disappointed in the commitment shown by some of the franchises in making quick picks. But on the other hand, I reall y like to thank @canuck2xtreme for all the hard work. there seemed to be a few others as well, trying to keep things moving.....Thanks guys! It is my opinion, that it may be a better idea to have everyone submit lists, with a deadline date on it, and have the administrator just take it off of that.....It seems less work for the administrator.....and less frustrating for the franchises that are committed to making this work and having fun! I personally did not have fun, with this. It has no bearing on @canuck2xtreme which did an excellent job.

Guys that impressed me (That are draft eligible) in no order 1. Dvorsky..........................he just got stronger and stronger.........almost a one man show...........certainly carried his team 2. Pekarcik.........................loved his speed and drive..........I wonder what round he goes in? 3. Stenberg........................Man, I see him alot higher than his ranking 4. Wood.............................I wood take him! 5. Sandin-Pellikka..............he sure like playing Canada. Plays big in big games (plays better) 6. Sale...............................did not score as much as I expected, but really did not have the support (basically he did not go up or down, but I liked him) 7. Perreault........................I thought he was alot better than his ranking...........always had the puck.........that is a good thing, Right? Disappointments 1. Cristall............................I just did not see what all the fuss is about 2. Moore.............................he should have done more with the talent on that team
