Agreed. However when they are obnoxious its more of an abomination then when they blend in and not eye catching but subliminal.

I voted '94, but I don't really feel it's a good option. I just chose it because it says "unlikely team" and I feel that's rather accurate. I believe we are a good enough team to be making the playoffs but I don't truly feel like we're going to the finals. However if we did make it to the finals it would feel like the '94 team. I think if im comparing it to a team though.. id have to pick somewhere around '06 '07, when the team had some strong pieces together and were buzzin'. We currently have strong pieces. Do we have holes - yes but so did those years. They are the stepping stones that brought us to 2011. That's the vibe I'm feeling.

Such a minor change.. but begs the question, why? It doesn't really change the overall look of the uniform. I notice the word "bauer" is now horizontal and takes up a lot of space. Idk if I like or dislike it.. its just bugging me for the "why" of it all.

When they look like this they aren't too bad. But when they are like what the Canadiens have.... I hard disapprove. I think the best one that I've seen is vegas. They made the ad the same colour of their jersey and it blends in smoothly.

I'm happy to hear this. I've never been a fan of the Adidas jerseys. Wonder who will be the next up though. I'm with another poster in wanting reebok back.

This. I voted avs in 7 cause Oilers actually won against them in the reg season and every game was decided by one goal. Thought it might be a little closer. But I was hoping for a Colorado sweep so I'm happy if my vote is wrong.

Here we go again... another "grey area" rule. Anger one set of fans and spark debate just cause.. The Ying and yang of it all though. Last time it benefited the Oilers this time it does not... Hopefully next game can be debate free. Oilers are back to back in the debate club.
