In the past 2 years top 5 pick I would have to say Landeskoug. However, if we were looking at all 1st round draft picks in the last 2 years, I would have to take a stab at Vladamir Tarasenko. The kid has so much damn skill it is incredible, the only reason he didn't go top 5 is because of the risk of him staying in Russia.

Hard working, chippy, physical, leadership characteristics, is not a defensive liability and would only get better playing with Malhotra, Pahlsson, Kesler, Burrows, Higgins, and Raymond. He also seems like just a great kid in the locker room, from what I've heard from Avs fans.

I would say Landeskog. He's similar to Burrows, but with more upside. Hard-working, big, strong, gritty and displays some goal scoring skill. He provides a two-way presence and physical element the Sedins need.

Landeskog no doubt. Would add lots of energy to the Sedin line and has the physical tools to play well with them.

It will be Taylor Hall for sure. Then Nugent Hopkins, if you guys want an all out, "puck Possesion" and "finess" type of line. it will be that. Landeskog will be nice, but in the end, he's no Hopkins or Hall.
