Ktakatch
we're playing for now.. not the future. we dont draft, we sign free agents when they are good enough to be with us
250Integra
Schneider to a divisional opponent? no thanks. Edmonton wins it again.. which only means another 1st overall pick next year.

Grapefruits
Why are people to quick to trade Schneider for a draft pick that could easily be a bust? If we are trading Schneider, I expect a proven player in return.
7thMan
They want young guys to build their future dynasty, we want players to help us win the cup in the next few years. Why would we give them what we want in exchange for what they want?
magoomba
You should be automatically disqualified if you've already had two or more 1st overall picks in the past 5 years.
Haikara
Edmonton isn't going to deal high draft picks or prospects to a divisional rival.
nux4lyfe
Good Luck holding on to all those draft picks in 4-5 yrs...they won't win a cup in that span, jokes on them.

Gollumpus
I don't see Vancouver having anything that Edmonton really needs which couldn't be had better from a different team. If Edmonton really wanted a young, very good d-man then they would talk to NJ about Larsson or TB about Hedman. They wouldn't be overly thrilled by Gillis dangling a guy like Tanev under their nose, and I think they'll try to run with Dubnyk so they won't really be looking for a goalie. I don't think that the Canucks *need* Yakupov. He certainly would be nice to have, but I see that the team has other needs. I wouldn't mind Gillis going after a top-10 pick so that he could get someone like Reinhart, so TB might still be the Canucks' dancing partner in a Schneider deal. regards, G. CanuckCup1316
I hope oilers dont make playoffs ever again. What a joke. No way we make a major deal within division. My guess is Tampa is where Schneider ends up.
