[Signings] Blues Re-sign Three

The St. Louis Blues on Monday re-signed forwards Chris Porter, Anthony Peluso and Brett Sonne to one-year, two-way contracts. No financial terms were disclosed.

Porter appeared in a career-high 47 games for the Blues this past season, scoring four goals and adding three assists for seven points. The 28-year-old has played in 98 NHL regular-season games, all with the Blues, scoring eight goals and adding eight assists for 16 points along with 27 penalty minutes. The Toronto native was originally drafted by Chicago in the ninth round (No. 282) in the 2003 NHL Draft and was signed by the Blues as a free agent on Aug. 21, 2007.

Peluso, 23, played in 61 games for the Blues' American Hockey League affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen, this past season, scoring four goals and five assists for nine points along with a team-leading 159 penalty minutes. The 6-foot-3, 235-pound forward was drafted by the Blues in the sixth round (No. 160) in the 2007 NHL Draft.

Sonne, 23, played in 70 games for the Rivermen this past season, scoring eight goals and adding nine assists for 17 points along with 40 penalty minutes. He was originally drafted by the Blues in the third round (No. 85) in 2007.
