WrestlingDVDNews.com reports that UK retail site Zavvi has revealed two upcoming WWE DVD projects. One is a Sting DVD and Blu-ray that's scheduled to be available for pre-order in September. The second project revealed looks to be a single-disc DVD on Kane and The Undertaker. The current working title for that DVD and Blu-ray is "Brothers of Destruction." They company hopes to turn around the perception that people remember from when Young was a comedy character and hope that they can repackage him as a credible champion on the eyes of the fans. According to a few sources, part of the reason that they put the belt on Young is to get some cross-promotion with his Animal Planet show, Off The Hook: Extreme Catches, which has its season three debut on Sunday June 16. If they give him the main event at Summer Slam, what a slap in the face of all the others working their butts off. Lesnar is a money draw. When he was in UFC, he was their biggest draw too. He was the main event at UFC 100, one of UFC's biggest PPV event and that til this day is the most ppv buys in UFC history. The next highest is also a Lesnar headlined event. Props to Abyss & EY for doing that on free TV, not going to see that anywhere else (unless a new company pops up with a TV deal) As for the Lesnar thing, he's a beast enough said, he's got a ton of fans, and he's an attraction. The match with Triple H is rumored for SummerSlam but word is that it could end up taking place at Hell In a Cell or Survivor Series if they decide to stretch it out longer. Batista is apparently taking some time off after WWE's Extreme Rules as he is not currently being advertised for any WWE events after that show, including RAW the next night from Albany, NY. He is also not advertised for the big European tour that kicks off in May. It was reported back when Batista signed with WWE that he was expected to take some time off to do promotional work for Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy but that movie doesn't open until August 1st.
