Better described as bland or generic with no buildup into the players coming out onto the ice. It might be a nice song and all, but terrible compared to the U2 opening that so many of us love. Everyone keep an eye on the Fort Nucks/Project NU2 page. They're apparently going to rotate the opening music and there may be a chance to make yourself heard on the options.
