tas
It's probably because of Canes' ownership actually needing that money freed. 675k might not seem a lot for a team like the Canucks but for the Canes - it financially handcuffs ownership over there. It's pretty sad.
Ilya Mikheyev
Still has the most points for the Checkers this year.. It'll surprise me if he is not claimed.

allkill326
Interestingly enough, there was a LOT of talk that Janssen was about to sign with Vancouver, but NJD offered better TERM. However he has 1 assist/0 points and is -9 in his last 51 games and didn't get any playoff experience with a SCF team last year! Doubt he gets a looksie now. Ilya Mikheyev
Yes, I'm aware, but I believe Janssen will be more productive, once he finds his chemistry in our 4th line.

D-Money
I don't think he'll fall to us. But even then, what do we do with him? Put him on waivers again? After what I saw last night, I don't see how the Avs could justify passing on him.

timberz21
Funny how everyone want to pick him up, but no one never saw him plays. The only memory people have of him was, him being a 1st rounder and playing with Cody in the WJC in ....2009!!! We're in 2013 people, 4 years later. The guy is just two small to have an impact in any NHL team's top 6. And not good/tough enough to play in the bottom 6. He had plenty of chances with Carolina, they haven't been that deep at forwards the last 5 years (except this year) He's a career AHL, probably a good one, but will never make it in the big league
86Viking
got picked up by pittsburgh. Totally wish he fell to use but our win last night jumped us up in the standings. Will have the best opportunity in his career. I think he takes dupuis spot with crosby or goes beside malkin and neal Lucky pick up for himm could have been columbus or nyi
