When is it time to panic? Canucks are 3-5-1 in last 9 games

Its no good winning the presidents trophy because it gives you a lousy draft choice. Thats why they are playing a little worse to end up lower in the standings where they get a better draft choice.Thats it isn't it?

It is never the right time to panic to answer the original question......it is however long overdue to make a calculated and logical change like firing the coaching staff.

This team has lost some of it's game since about 1/2 way thru last season.

They tried to play this defensive hockey, and all it did was cause them to stop scoring.

Canucks should be scoring more goals, especially from their D. Garrison has had his moments, but most of the time he looks like a 3rd pairing guy who can't keep up with the play in his own zone.

When Edler is struggling, you can tell because he's Jekyll/Hyde out there. One minute he looks like Lidstrom, and the next, he's coughing it up in front of his own net. Consistency is needed.

Canucks really, really REALLY need to get the PP going. One PP goal per game would make a huge difference.

It's funny. The same group of ppl who told people ," reg season doesn't matter if you don't win the cup.", are panicking when the team is in a mid season slump.

Each year they will find a way to preach the idea of blowing up the team or firing our coach.

Turns out how well you do in reg season would matter huh?

There are times in pro north American sports where blaming the refs is justified.

The replacement refs during the last nfl season were god awful on the whole.

The raptors this season have a legitimate gripe with a number of game deciding calls that have screwed them this year.

The whole burrows/ Augier incident was despicable, and I totally beleive the ref abused his power and cost us that game.

Since being die hard fan the last 10 or so years and watching the majority of the games that have been played since then I'd say the number of times Hughson/Shorty have said "the Canucks get away with one" or "the opponents get away with one" has been about even.

Yea the "zebras" make mistakes. Does are team have an underserved rep for diving moreso than other teams? Maybe.

The number of complaints on this board is despicable. People who legitmatly feel some teams like Chicago have no reg season loses is cause they consistently get better calls/ the league wants us to lose and has mandated the refs to throw games are stupid.

European soccer is one thing. Things are very crooked over there. Yea guys like Donahay come around every now and then and I'm not saying its impossible for anything to happen in NA, but the number of threads/ comments in GDTs is saddening. We get breaks too. During our cup run vs Nashville and San jose we got way more calls that decided key games than our opponents.

Refs make mistakes. Deal with it. It's not like our PP has been so great this year that multiple missed/ bad calls have screwed us over to the point where well miss the playoffs.
