With Mitchell dealt to Buffalo i have 5 Sabres in my Team now...hope Torrey will be a little bit more productive there.

Legwand to Detroit should be good with some Keyplayers out in Motor City. An Weiss seems not ready for some more Weeks.

Vanek to Montreal means Halmo could get more Icetime in Long Island ..but also that Bournival may has lost his Spot if he returns from LITR.

" Blues Open Letter to the League regarding circumstances around the Florida Panthers"

Just a short Message from the Blues Org to the League.

Personally i cant agree whit what happend to OTTS last Night.

At first i placed a Waivers Claim on Niskanen but after i had a long Talk with OTTS

i just moved back from this Action.

Some facts about another Owner Roster (wont post a Name here) makes me feel again that

there are gm´s and that there are GM`s in this League. We had similar problems around Wallstreetamigo

last Season which ended with Wally was fired from his Job.

It cant be that the "Elite" can do what they want and other GM´s allways have to stick back.

it feels like a little bit like this here.... Regards Bomba

Disappointed that I couldn't makle the playoffs with the group I had this season. I thought prior to the season I would have had a decent chance this year although I think having to make certain moves before the season began to be cap compliant held my team back a little but these moves allow me to retool and stay young. Happy to have brought in some quality assets for veteran players and upcoming free agents.

Note: I also will not be placing a claim on any Florida players placed on waivers last night.

I have reversed my claim on any Panthers players.

I originally intended to place them back on waivers so that Florida would have first priority to pick them up, but felt that would undermine the league's decision.

What happened to the Panthers is not right and not fair, I can name 7 teams off the top of my head who should have players requesting more icetime but I don't intend to burn any bridges with any GMs.

What I find interesting though is that many of those players play for teams owned by league executives and player agents.

TGC's assessment of a class system is not far off here.

I am trying to stay completely out of the debate, but I do think a few points on each end of it are valid. The main thing I am posting about at the moment is that historically, I have always been on the side of the underdog, the bottom end teams, usually inherited by new GM's from GM's who moved on but left a team in the shambles...that has not changed, I am simply choosing to stay right out of this one. I don't know the details of the decision, and I don't think anyone does when negotiations take place in the media we all lose. That is all I have to say, other than to say: OTTS, I really enjoy playing with all 29 of you guys, including you, so stick around, heck you are out in front by 4%...no one is breaking your game..and Curt, your effort and time and general attempts at keeping the peace are very appreciated.

Hopefully this is resolved at a closed door meeting, rather than in the feed.

Cheers to all,

P.O.
