Plum
Debatable. Probably how the 'hawks won the cup.. right?
Drouin
They had a little bit of both. Kane, Toews, Hossa, Sharp as their 4 offensive threats then Bickell, Saad, Frolik, Bolland, Handzus, Bollig, Olesz, Stalberg, Shaw, Carcillo, Mayers. If you don't think that is depth, then you have no clue of what you're talking about.
Pears
I think everyone knows St. Louis has a better overall team than Chicago. Bickell - Toews - Kane Sharp - Pirri* - Hossa Saad - Handzus - Shaw Bollig - Kruger - Mayers Morin, Hayes, Smith Keith - Seabrook Hjalmarsson - Leddy Oduya - Roszival Crawford Khabibulin Compared to St. Louis: Oshie - Backes - Stewart Schwartz - Roy - Tarasenko Steen - Berglund - Paajarvi Morrow* - Lapierre - Sobotka Reaves, Porter, Cracknell Bouwmeester - Pietrangelo Leopold - Shattenkirk Jackman - Polak Cole Halak Elliott Allen

Plum
crossed out is what they lost. Frolik Bolland Olesz Stalberg Carcillo Hayes Morin Kruger Pirri Smith Easily injecting youth. All 5 players are 25 or younger..
Butters Stoch
Damn that's a real balanced group of forwards if they get Morrow. No real all star player that stands out but a lot of depth. I'd still rate the Blues forwards as just slightly above average but when you add in the offence that their stacked defence will chip in, that'll be plenty of offence. Drouin
Ben Smith doesn't stand a chance. That is so much inexperience at once, even so that is such a big gamble putting your chances with youth.
Not A Fruit
I don't think they would be instant cup favorites, but definitely a top 3 team IMO with Brendan Morrow
Pouria
Great fit for the fourth line, as he would have been on ours. But looking at that lineup, Paajarvi on the second line might be a big hit or a big miss, Stewart can be inconsistent, and who knows what Roy will do. Really, only that second line looks weak to me. Pouria
Blues going all in...if they get him, they become my favourites for the cup.
DownUndaCanuck
Blues and Canadiens are gearing themselves up for the playoffs. They may not be favourites, but their teams are both built for the post-season. My early SCF favourites.
Lonny_Bohonos_14
Confirmed. Pierre LeBrun @Real_ESPNLeBrun 18m Brenden Morrow has agreed to a one-year deal with the St. Louis. Obvious connection there with Hitchcock/Armstrong from Dallas days... Darren Dreger @DarrenDreger 15m As per @Real_ESPNLeBrun, Brenden Morrow has agreed to a 1 year deal with the Blues. Pierre LeBrun @Real_ESPNLeBrun 10m And as @jprutherford says, it's $1.5 million on the one-year deal for Morrow. Bargain for the Blues for that caliber of player
